To fellow Diablo II posters, I am here willingly to listen to your suggestions to expand this Diablo forum. I know none of you were directed to this board by any diablo fan site. I know that for a fact because there is no .ORG diablo fan site (Yet!)...

Other then having a fan site to attract more posters. What kind of ideas would you like here? Feel free to throw out some ideas, but don't go over the boundaries of the Forum's TOS (Term of Service) and Rules.

1) the domain is taken.
2) umm.. who has time to make a website while trying to revive a network? ;)

Err, didnt someone register it from ONE of the networks?

We could always get diablo2.org (since... err diablo "1" isnt really that uhm popular now? :p)

And sides, a site for Diablo wouldnt be to hard, Id help with stuff, it would stop me from having to try ot cover it on kupatrix ;) lol Heh, At the very least we could keep updated more then Diabloii.net is ;)

As for the forums... I think it would be nice to attract Diablo 2 people -- there are a ton of them out there, and with diabloii.net going all funky (nazi-like? banning veteran members for no reason -- removing sigs) there maybe alot of 'want' for a good Diablo2 forum... Heh eventually it would be nice to have a forum for each character, then a forumf or mod making/single player/etc...

I dont know... What we really need is more D2 players, and more people interested in the game on the forums so we can get the section more active...

I need a large list of features and content that will be original to said website as well as a list of people willing to dedicate a lot of time to building it.

I'll check back in and comment on things, but if/when you reach an acceptable point I'll be more apt to consider actually setting things up for it. As it is, Edge feels, and I agree that these boards need to grow and a Diablo community can possibly emerge from that. So.. work on it, and we'll take it from there. ;)

Argh my modem is SO ANNOYING.

I think it was just firm'ed to Docsis 1.1 though... damn insight takes forever to do stuff.

Anyways, This is great, AJ, T-Dawg, MacG; I would like to offer my services. I am no where on par with AJ's programming, or up there in the Graphics Dept, but I have been running websites for about 6 or 7 years :X

More recently ones are my own - Kupatrix.com, and BlizzSCUMs sites. (And others I have done for money -- woo ;D)

Ok so down to it, we need a name, and less important (or more?) a domain name. I will try to think of a few while I try to move the BS site over to a CMS -- while trying to figure out if turning on magic quotes is a good thing or not.

We could advertise this web site. Then we can make sure that the public knows about Diablo and that there is a place were we can all chat and talk about the game.

i find d2jsp.com a VERY good place to interact and trade... its very nicely scripted and blah blah blah... but the servers run too slow... but maybe thats cuzz they always hve like 300 members posting at one time -.-

What about Starcraft.org and Warcraft.org? They have done very well (as far as I know) and they are linked to these forums. I think a Diablo site with this forum to back it would do well.
