Hello everybody at WarBoards!

I'm Jeff, admin of FlagshipStudios.org (http://flagshipstudios.org/). As you may recall, last year some Blizzard employees (http://flagshipstudios.com/bios_all.htm) with a major involvement in the development of the Diablo series and other Blizzard games left the company with the intent of forming their own gaming studio. In October '03, they announced the name of their company, Flagship Studios (http://flagshipstudios.com/). When I heard this news, I knew that this group of people would accomplish some great things. However, there was not much information made available initially (which actually is still true today), so I made plans to start a fansite for the company in the future. With this in mind, I registered the best domain I could think of, FlagshipStudios.org, since the .net was taken. Earlier this year I got around to starting a website at that address. I continue to work on it in my free time, although I haven't had a whole lot of that lately. There's definitely still work to be done.

Because of the .org domain, I was recently contacted by AJ and Edgewize about the possibility of incorporating FS.org into the ORG network along with SC.org, WC.org, etc. I think this would be an excellent opportunity for both FS.org and the .org network. We will be working together to integrate the site into the network. Once this happens, all we can hope for is some more information from FS about their first RPG, and more importantly, for them to make an awesome game! Until then, check out FS.org as it is now, as well as FS.com and the other great dedicated fansites for the company.

You'll hear more from me as things progress, but for now, I'll see you around, and have fun in World of Warcraft! :)

So you just stuck with the name Jeff321 eh ;)?

Great to have you come by, and I really look forward to FS.org's future success as a part of the ORG community. After talking to you online for a bit last night, I'm positive you'll be a great addition to the community as well. Although there isn't much information on FlagshipStudios right now, we can be sure that it will be a huge growth in the FS community in the near future. With your assistance, we, as a community, should be well-prepared for that growth :).

Cheers, and welcome aboard ^_^.

Thanks for the welcome everybody!

So you just stuck with the name Jeff321 eh ;)? For now, yeah, although I'll probably get it changed it to something cooler.

Unfortunately, I've got some programming work for school that I really need to get done first, but once that's done we'll get started on the new FS.org. (Sorry AJ... I know you're anxious to get this going!)

Ah, school is always more important than these Internet hobbies. :)

That said, why am I up at 2am when I have an exam tomorrow? Insomnia, I'll argue.

As for AJ... just pay him out every chance you get like the rest of us do ;)

Ah, so this is what AJ was talking about earlier... I suppose I was somewhat correct, meh.

Welcome, Jeff! Enjoy yourself as a new addition to the .org network. Enjoy warboards too, it's a pretty good place. I just came online to see what happened here, I have to get back to my essay for now.

Neat. I have followed flagship loosely since Roper's breakoff from Blizzard. Im anxious to find out what they are going to pull out in the coming years. I believe most of the Flagship crew were gifted artists.

I am a fan of Arena.net which is also founded by former blizzard project leaders. Most of them were some of the best programmers, including Mike O'Brien and Patrick Wyatt who have to be some of the best network coders in the industry being the people behind Battle.net.

Good luck with FS.org and I am looking forward to FS's first title.
