I thought I'd make a poll to find out how WB stands on the money that WoW will charge.

As I've always stood on the issue, the wee bit of money a month is not really a problem for me. I make enough to pay off a month worth of gaming in less than 2 hours at my job, where I can get upwards of 50-60 hours a month. Considering I spend a lot more money on food and a lot more money on other fees of daily life, I don't see it as an inconvenience in any way.

I won't go in depth on my thoughts this time, as I've done it so many times in the past :P. If anyone brings up something outrageous perhaps I'll pop in again ^_~.

Anyway, the upkeep for MMOs is generally costly and Blizz is planning to make some mula off of this one. I had assumed it would be around this price, so it's really not any sort of surprise for me. Anyway, we get the first month free, so who could complain anyway :)?

Its a bit of a pain for me, the only source of income I have is mowing my lawn for $20 (I have a really, really big back yard) and now it's stopped growing. To pay for this I just can't eat lunch for a week or two every month. A pain, but well worth it.

damit i hate monthly charges! i dont even get any money! i dont have a job, i dont get money for lunch (i got free lunch) the only way i could get money is by selling some music and movies to people in school for 5 dollars each.

It's a pain, but i'll manage. Three hours of babysitting per month does the trick. The real problem will be tossing down $50-75 for the game at first.

I'll manage.....somehow..............isn't it something like 15 bucks a month? a little more than what I was expecting, but I suppose thats what it will cost to run a game like that.

You get a month free whichever version you buy. I really think Blizzard is going to make a killing out of this, especially since as its so popular the beta site can't handle all the people logging on and keeps shutting down. I'll pay it anyway, so long as I can afford after I buy my new comp at Christmas for just playing this game.

I also hope you can get hold of the Collector's Edition over here in Europe. I havn't seen it advertised anywhere.
