Do you want them, or you hate them, take your pick!!

No.
One problem, you did blow up the ring In the end.
And all the flood were on that ring, and were incinrated.
So could they survive to be In the next game?

Have you been paying attention to the game, b/c 343GS Says there are more Halo Rings, so there might be...

Ohh, In that case.
Perhaps yes, but I still vote no 'cos they are just so annoying to meet In combat.

Yea, I never replay the flood levels, it's just too easy and repetitive since they have no strategy...

Fighting the Flood was fun the first time, but I think I got my fill in Halo 1. So, no.

Same. The flood were cool when you first saw them, and playing through the rest of the levels with them was cool too, but it gets old. There aren't that many variations of them, and killing them gets repetative (as Uuugggg said, they have no strategy).

I hate the flood. It makes the last levels of Halo 1 really repetetive and annoying, especially on Heroic and Legendary difficulties. It's just impractical. Their claws do mass amounts of damage to your battle armor, they have near perfect accuracy with their weapons, and many of them sport human weapons, more than I think there should be. Plus the game overdid it with the flood. The flood will just respawn endlessly around a corner until you find a good opportunity to blast through as fast as you can with the shotgun. One spot in the game that really got to me was one of the times that you have to disable the 3 power cores to temporarily disable Halo. There's one where you have to fly up to a small ledge like 300m above the ground, you walk into the core to disable it, your shields drop, and all of a sudden, there's flood pouring through the doors. How the hell did they get there so fast? Did some flood dropship land them there? The game went overboard with the whole spawning thing. At least the designers showed some mercy and kept them from using grenades.

Guess I am going to go against the crowd and say yes. I had a lot of fun killing them, and I am fine with them being in Halo 2. As long as there is a new type, such as a flood brute, or something like that.

Do I want the flood in halo 2? Not really, I had more than my fill from Halo 1. But I have a feeling they will appear in Halo 2, I bet my car on it.

I said no... i don't like the flood, as previously mentioned, they are to repetative, have no strategy, and make the last couple levels a bit of a bore.

So could they survive to be In the next game?Actually if you remember one part of the ring blew up and the rest just spiraled out of control in many little pieces. Who says the flood need air to live... the blast could have just sent them flying in every direction: they're pretty robust little annoying fellows...
But to answer the poll I'd love to see them in Halo 2.

I thought the flood were funny, I would want to see them in Halo 2, just not like in the last few levels were there are 1000's of them.

I don't mind the flood, just something else to shoot at. I will also bet the flood will show up on HALO 2.

Didnt the drone guy say something about the flood being an inevitable destructive force that would spread across the galexy and that the only thing that would stop them was if the halo was activated and incinerated the entire galexy including earth. That was why the master chief had to stop him, in order to save earth but at the price of allowing the flood to spread.
And yes Garrec, the flood could get ahead of you because they can jump like fleas and climb walls.
I wouldnt mind fighting the flood in halo 2 so long as they have changed and gone through several new stages like the drone guy said they would.

Who is the drone guy? I don't think I ever heard about this person.

Ohhh ok. Well if thats the case, then there is a mistake in his post.

Actually, 343 guilty spark didn't say that. He knew it, but he didn't want to tell Master Chief or Cortana this. But then Cortana figures it out, and realizes what could happen if Halo is activated.

Your opinion wont matter bcuz its a given. Its logical that the Flood will be back. If you read the prelude to H2, First Strike, you would understand the need for Sarge to stay alive.
