I heard many things about money in Diablo2, some say it's useless... some say it's not... what do you think, is money useless or not? and if not, than what are you buying with it?

Nah, money isn't useless at all.. There just really isn't a great demand for it so nobody really talks about it to much.. You can find money everywhere. Without the money, what would you repair with? And I wouldn't be able to gamble, I love gambling. ha.

yes yes we need gold to repair stuff =)
i just steal gold off people after killing them so no worries

also you can get a gold bot and get like max gold on each char everynight its crazy! then u can gamble like crazy!

Gold is only useful for repairs, and maybe gambling. It doesn't have a whole lot of uses though, and you can find it everywhere, that's why no one puts a high value on it.

DeJaZvU.. You do realize that nobody here cares about hacking, don't you? And why the hell does it matter what we call the gold? Gold IS money. Thats what our money system is based on, and all money systems are based on, how much gold you have. So please, shut the hell up and stop trying to be uber cool and correcting people and talking about your uber awesome gold bot. LEIK OMG!

Because gold/money is so common it's not worth alot and is hardly ever used except for repairing which is very useful and maybe buying gems or runes at the shops?

I love playing with my (slightly Unexperienced) friend. I give him like 2 million gold or something and he gives me set items

That is just 1 use for gold. :alcoholic
