Anyways, I think that the gold is too expensive. I'll probably settle for bronze or silver. Depends what available.

I think I'll go with Silver. It has the same games included as in the Gold package. The Gold package is more expensive, and I really don't need to pay the extra money for "HL2 posters, full strat guide, soundtrack, hat, collector's box, postcard & more".

When they say "Half-Life 1: Source" does that mean that the game has been completely redone with the source engine? Does that mean better graphics and effects? More updates to the game? Maybe there will be more weapons and objects to take advantage of the source engine... Or maybe it'll just be the same exact game.

A friend of mine told me once that when a game's rating changes from "Rating Pending" to an actual rating, it means that the game has only a few weeks left before it's made available to the public.
I'm not sure if this is true or not, but sierra.com has changed the rating from "RP" to "M", somewhere over the last few days. Due to all the delays the game has had, all release dates I've seen previously have obviously been false. Maybe this is an indication of a truthful release date within the next month.

A few store websites I've gone to indicate a possible release somewhere between November 6-15. Nov. 16 or 15 are the dates given by gamespot.com and ebgames.com.

It's a day later, and I got this information off of gamespy.com

heh my cousin bought the gold package and is coming by soon to give it 2 me only thing is i will only be getting cs source,day of defeat source,and half life source for free the rest he's keeping for himself still a pretty good deal considering that im getting it for free

i went with bronze. there is no reasoin to get any more than that unless you are REALLY in to HL2.
