That's right folks, I've taken the time to remake the old map. I completely remade the map from the ground up. In this version, I've isolated the conditions for almost every spell in the game, along with a few skills to boot. Keep in mind these are all with no AI Script running. BTW, wasn't there a site that listed how to do each spell and such? They may know how to do the few I have yet to find. If you think I missed something, I'll see what I can do about popping it in there.

Okay guys, I think it's ready for release now. Please hit me with any bugs/glitches you guys see.

You can download Spell Check v2.0 (http://www.blizzforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2130) from Blizzforums.

I love you, Doom. This is such a handy reference. Especially for the Blind spell. Great job, and keep up the good work!

I'm glad you like it buddy. Oh, I'll be uploading it to the server and linking it as soon as I can get my freaking internet cable back. Stupid mom...

Edit: I'm at school right now, btw.

Hooray for whatever the hell you are talking about! Finally, a handy map reference to that!

You never saw version 1, Dark_Soul? It rocked! Great reference. And the number 2.0 suggests improvements.

You should put this in EoSE, Doom.

Nice :)

How the heck do you do it? Trial and error?

I find these in the Blizzplanet forums. Compiled by Nanaki_XIII

- Parasite -

*The best way to directly make a queen use parasite on a unit is to set up a holding room, put a unit that can attack such as a marine here and make in invincible. Put a bunch of queens nearby the room and place the unit you want to have parasite on in the room. After 10 seconds to a minute the queen will parasite this unit.
*Queens only seem to want to parasite ground units most often but will parasite pretty much any ground unit from even a civilian to hero units. Rarely will it parasite an air unit.
*Occasionally queens will parasite random ground units when standing idle and the opponent is also idle as well. This takes a lot longer though.
*Queen seems to use parasite 2 times

- Dark Swarm -
*A nearby defiler will put up a darkswarm when some of its melee units are being attacked by any ground unit with range
*The defiler won't always use it though, additional units in combat will encourage it to use its dark swarm more
*They will use this to help protect allies too
*Only seem to want to use it once, using a melee AI will make them use it multiple times

- Restoration -

*Seem to only use this on locked down units and ones stuck from maelstrom
*May use it only once or not at all even but you can provoke them to use it over and over if you attack the medic with something like a ghost
*They will use it on hero units but not allies
*Using a Terran melee AI seems to encourage more use

Trial and Error, Knowledge of the AI from playing UMS maps for so long, common sense, some luck, a little accident, and a lot of skill is what I've been using to find them all.

Thanks Stealthness. I'll start using that immediately.

Edit: Sweet, I just found Restoration on accident. Stupid tips really didn't help any. I'll just have to experiment.

Edit 2: Found Dark Swarm too. Go being smart!

Edit 3: Found Parasite, attempting to isolate the conditions now.

Edit 4: Damnit! Parasite is pissing me off. With the exact same conditions, it works sometimes.

Edit 5: Freaking finally got it working. Had to use the guide though :(. I don't think you can make them use consume though.

Very useful! Even I haven't gone into the full depth of what causes units to cast spells (I just emulate them with cheasy triggering). :p

Keep up the good work!

Now I have 1 last question. Should I protect the map? I'm leaning towards yes since I tell you how to do it in the map.

Use save-protection. That way people can look at it in the editor, but it won't let them save.

There's save protection? Please explain... [/noob?]

It's ready for release methinks. Check the first post.

Well there are a few ways, but the one I'm most familiar with is to simply use a P101 unit anywhere in the map (like a map revealer or something), and that'll prevent staredit from saving.
