Think it's impossible to win "The Alamo" maps with the Mexicans?:o
You thought wrong...
It's actually easy if you do it right.
:_owned:
Riflemen are the key to the first charge. Make AsManyAsPossible at a rally point near the fort (just out of range) and when ready move them right next to the wall where your tagets are (Do not use the attack key, if you do your men just split up and run around in circles:shiftyl: It's very very sad...) Repeat this process till all men on wall that you want to get rid of are killed. Or a significant amount is gone.
Since the wall defense is now gone, all you must worry about are the Heroes and men in the fort. Bash down whatever is left of the barricade/gate and charge in with Footmen and Knights ASAP. If your oppenents still have cannon men you could get close enough to the troops when they can either not use it or hurt their own troops while fireing. Repeat this process multiple times till remaining troops are gone.
Try to Ignore the heroes as much as possible if they are one-man-armies. Only attack when in a tight spot.:shiftyr:
