A New Beginning: Part 1 Betrayal

Chapter 1

It is the year 4014 A.D. and the planet Moebius is in turmoil. A fleet of Ur-Quan commanded by Mordecai, descendant of the evil Lord Yggdrasil, (who had tried to enslave the former planet of Earth back in 2002) is on it's way to enslave the planet.
The planet elders discuss their options before the Ur-Quan fleet arrives in the Circular office of the Grey House in Moebianapolis, the capital city of planet Moebius.

Fenguin - "I am afraid that there is nothing that we can do to stop the Ur-Quan from enslaving us all, Mr. President. It is hopeless to go to war with them."

AJ - "I must agree with my colleague on this, Mr President. We do not have the firepower to repel the Ur-Quan fleet, However we could use more peaceful terms with the Heirarchy."

Oboeguru - "We must evacuate the planet before it is too late, sir! Don't let millions of people die needlessly by fighting the Ur-Quan!"

Edgewize - *looks at the members of his cabinet with disdain* "I will not force the people to evacuate the planet, nor it is hopeless to fight a war with a race that doesn't believe in peace. You have my orders, gentlemen. Get to it."

AJ, Oboguru, and Fenguin. "Yes, Sir." *the members of the cabinet left the room one by one leaving the President alone in the Circular Office.

Edgewize - *stood up from his chair behind his desk and walks over to a window* "There has to be a way in defeating the Ur-Quan."

???? - "The Ur-Quan were defeated when they tried to enslave the planet Earth over 2000 years ago.

Edgewize - *turns around and sees a familiar face from his youth who still hasn't even aged a day since Egdewize first met him appear from the shadows* "Yes, I know, Johann. I have heard about the battle between the Ur-Quan and the Earthlings. But all of those who fought against the Ur-Quan had died while trying to defeat the maniacal Zykuzal."

Warhog4ever - "I would prefer if you would call me warhog4ever, my friend. However that isn't what's important right now. What is important is that their is one who had fought against the Ur-Quan back in the early 2100's to which is rumored to have been brought back to life by the evil tyrant, Crion prior to him being slain by that same character."

Edgewize - "And why would I need help from someone who was brought back to life by that asshole, Crion anyway? Why should I trust anyone who was ever associated with that madman."

warhog4ever - "Because This character had joined sides with ShiniTenshi, killed the abomination Satsurukitenshi, and had slain both the Worm Lord and the evil tyrant Cron who'tried to take over the entire universe."

Edgewize - "And just who is this person who was able to do all of this anyway?"

warhog4ever - "The one I am talking about is Demon Child, former commander of the "Demon Knights and an old friend of mine from long ago."

Edgewize - "The Demon Knights?! *his eyes widened* "As in the same "Demon Knights" who fought aganist the Ur-Quan on Earth? And who died valiantly while trying to save the Earth from destruction at the hands of Zykuzal?"

warhog4ever - "Indeed. He is the same Demon Child. And he has been traveling with the bounty hunter, ShiniTenshi, the last that I have heard."

Edgewize - "We could really use Demon Child right now, warhog4ever. Do what you can to get Demon Child here."

warhog4ever - "As you wish, my friend" *gave Edgewize a bow and vanishes*

Edgewize - *looks back outside the window and sighs* "I hope Demon Child can get here before the Ur-Quan fleet does."

Outside of the Grey House Fenguin, AJ and Oboeguru discuss their thoughts about President Edgewize's decision.

Oboeguru - "The president has got to be completely out of his fucking mind! He is going to sacrifice countless millions of innocent people by going to war with the Ur-Quan!"

Fenguin - "The Ur-Quan will slaughter us all like lambs and the President will be the one to lead us to the slaughter."

Oboeguru - "Exactly, which is why going to war with the Ur-Quan will be hopeless."

AJ - "The President knows what he is doing, therefore we should still follow his orders."

Fenguin - "And our lives and the lives of the people?! You are more trusting than I am, AJ."

AJ - "You two might want to be cowards and run away from the Ur-Quan, but you can't run forever. The Ur-Quan will find you, eventually and what will you do when they do find you?"

*Fenguin and Oboeguru leave AJ behind without even saying a word or even looking back at AJ*

AJ - *looks around to see if no one else is around to spy on him and then taps on a concealed comlink located on his watch* "Mistress, Mordecai. This is ehjayb, do you copy?"

Mordecai - *breaths a sigh* "Yes I copy, ehjayb. What is your report?"

AJ - "I have good news, mistress. The President is preparing for a war against the Ur-Quan."

Mordecai - "Excellent work, ehjayb. The fleet should be there by the end of the week to enslave the Moebians." *evil laughter*

AJ - "Shall I keep you informed on what the President is planning with the war against the Ur-Quan, Mistress?"

Mordecai - "Of course, you idiot! I would expect nothing less from my best spy! Mordecai out!" *cuts off communication*

AJ - *mumbles under his breath* "These pathetic Moebians won't know what's coming to them." *stifled laughter*

Chapter 2

Meanwhile Demon Child, ShiniTenshi, Dark Roy, and Eric "Chaos" Young are cruising across the galaxy in the Spaceship Goliath 2 about 5 parsecs from planet Moebius,

Dark Roy - "Are we there, yet?"

Demon Child *growls* "Roy,if ask me that one more time, So help me God I'll..."

Chaos - *interupts Demon Child by mocking him* "Shove this sword so far up your ass that you will be tasting what you had for dinner last night!" *falls out of his chair and rolls around on the floor laughing*

Shinitenshi - *trying to keep his mind clear so he can pilot the Goliath* "Eww! Thanks for the colorful description, Chaos!"

Demon Child - *begins to stand up from his chair* "Alright, don't make me stop this Spaceship!"

Dark Roy - *repositions his comm earpiece onto his ear* "Shini, I am picking up a distress signal. It is coming from planet Moebius."

Chaos - *ceases the laughter* "What kind of idiotic situation have those morons gotten themselves into this time?"

Demon Child - *looks down at Chaos* "And I guess YOU are the expert in all of the Moebian political decisions, right?"

Chaos - *gives Demon Child a dirty look but never answered him back*

Shinitenshi - "How about you pipe down and let DC and I find out what is the meaning of the distress signal, Chaos?"

Demon Child - *Walks over to Shinitenshi's chair and leans over his shoulder* "So what have you found out about this distress call?"

*ShiniTenshi moved his fingers around the computer console pressing to what seems to be random buttons to the likes of Demon Child*

Shinitenshi - "This is a priority one distress signal!"

Demoning - "Meaning?" *waves his claw around in a circle telling Shini to continue with telling him what a priority one distress signal actually means*

Shinitenshi - "Meaning that the planet is in grave danger of enemy attack. And the only race of beings that could threaten the Mobians in this way would be..."

Demon Child - *interupted Shinitenshi before he could finish knowing full well what Shini was going to say due to his telepathic abilities* "The Ur-Quan."

Dark Roy - *eyes widened* "So you have known about the Ur-Quan before, have you, DC?"

Demon Child - *turns to Dark Roy* "I have heard about the Ur-Quan once before back in 2002 A.D., when a Ur-Quan fleet under the command of Yggdrasil, had tried to invade Earth. A group of freedom fighters under my command known as the "Demon Knights" had battled the evil Yggdrasil and repelled the Ur-Quan fleet away from the Earth."

Chaos - *stifled laughter* "2002 A.D.?!?! Goddamn, that was a long ass time ago! This is the year 3952 ATP!"

Shinitenshi - "Unfortunately the Moebians aren't as willing to fight for their lives or freedom as the Earthlings were. We may be in over our heads on this one."

Demon Child - "Perhaps. But I certainly won't go down without a fight." *Demon Child pats his claw to the side of the sheathed Masamune and grins* "Set a course for planet Moebius."

On the last remaining Ur-Quan Flagship the Kukulkan-359; Mistress Mordecai grows eager to order her fleet to begin the invasion of planet Moebius.

Mordecai - *evil laughter* "Soon, I will enslave another petty species in this universe. And there will be none who can stop me. Not even the blasted Borgands will be able to stop me from rebuilding the Ur-Quan empire to it's rightful dominance of the universe. " *evil laughter*

Schwitzer - "Mistress Mordecai. We are within four days of the planet Moebius at our present course and speed."

Mordecai - *rubs her tendrils together* "Excellent. When we arrive at planet Moebius we will commence our attack. *presses a button on her chair* Duddits!"

Duddits - *Duddits voice is heard over the intercom* "You called, Mistress Mordecai?"

Mordecai - *Mordecai replied back with sarcasm* "Your name is Duddits, isn't it?"

Duddits - "Yes, it is. What is your wish, my mistress?"

Mordecai - "In four days I want this interstellar heap of scrap at full combat readiness. We are going to invade the planet Mobius by the end of the week and I expect the battle to be a short one. Understood?"

Duddits - "We will be at full combat readiness when we begin the invasion, Mistress."

Mordecai - "Very well, then. Mordecai out!" *cuts off communication and mutters the words "dumb ass" under her breath* "I am going to the hibernation chamber wake me when ehjayb has something interesting to report to me about from planet Moebius or when we are about to begin our invasion of planet Moebius." *gets up and leaves the bridge to her hibernation chamber*

Schwitzer - *looks at Koomann, shakes his head and whispers* "Sometimes they don't pay us enough to put up with that bitch. I wonder how the Ur-Quan survived the Borgand invasion almost 50 years ago."

Koomann - *whispers back at Schwitzer* "Do you realize that she could have our heads for even talking about an act of treason against the Heirarchy?"

Schwitzer - *continues the conversation with Koomann in whispers* "That is not the point, Koomann. The point is that the Ur-Quan were supposed to have been destroyed when the Borgands invaded their homeworld. The Ur-Quan government was in utter chaos until the Queen of Photons a.k.a. Mordecai had figured out how to defeat them and was then given total control over the entire Ur-Quan race. I have just about had it with her bullshit amd am ready to join any faction strong enough to fight the Heirarchy."

Koomann - "She has decided to take the initiative in rebuilding an empire that was almost extinct. There is no sense in losing your head over how she is running the entire Ur-Quan race."

Schwitzer - "But before she took over the reigns of the Ur-Quan race they had been at a state of decline since the loss of Lord Yggdrasil when he had made an attempt to invade the planet Earth over 2000 years ago."

Koomann - "Are you telling me that if there was a faction strong enough to stand up and give the Mistress the biggest battle of the century, then you would gladly defect to that side? You can't fucking be serious!"

Schwitzer - "You damn right I would fight against the Mistress and the Heirarchy at the drop of a hat!"

Koomann - *shakes his head* "You are out of your mind if you think that there is someone who could lead the Moebians into battle against the Mistress and expect to win!"

Schwitzer - "There is always a chance that a faction out there that is ready and willing to fight against the Ur-Quan. I am certain of it." *turns his head back to his monitor and ignores Koomann as he pretends to work*

Chapter 3

That next day (three days until the Ur-Quan invade planet Moebius) the crew of the Goliath 2 are making their final preparations before they land on planet Moebius and Demon Child is anxious to stretch his legs and his only unsmashed wing.

Demon Child - "I can't wait to get the hell off of this crampped heap of tin and practice my sword fighting teshniques." *unsheaths and brandishes the Masamune for a few seconds and then resheaths it*

Shinitenshi - "If you are looking for a sparing partner, then you won't have to look far, since I could use some practice with my melee combat, myself" *pats on his sheathed dagger made out of a tooth of an Octorkulan*

Dark Roy - "Don't you two know that all you really need is a trusty rifle?" *takes his rifle out of his holster and cocks it*

Demon child - *turns to look at Dark Roy with an unamused look on his face* "Those who have to rely on ranged weapons all the time are not able to think fast enough when they are forced to fight in melee combat."

Dark Roy - "Pffff. I'll learn the art of melee combat, eventually. But I'll prefer marksmanship over melee, anyday." *reholsters his rifle and pouts at DC*

Chaos - "I'm with Roy on this one. There are certain things that you can do with guns and rifles that you can't do with swords and knives."

Demon Child - *creates a softball sized fireball in his right hand* "And there are certain things that my fireballs can do that your guns and rifles cannot, therefore I have mastered both ranged and melee combat since long before you were ever created." *shakes his right hand and the fireball vanishes into oblivion*

Dark Roy, Shinitenshi, and Chaos together - "You are such a showoff, DC!" *all three of them burst into laughter*

Demon Child *rolls his eyes* "Alright, everyone! Take your positions! We are about to enter the Moebian atmosphere!"

Dark Roy, Shinitenshi, and Chaos together - "Aye-aye, Commander." *still in an outburst of laughter*

The Goliath 2 shakes violently and the outside plating heats up to over 3000 degrees farenheit as it enters the Moebian atmosphere, but the ship withstood the extreme heat and violent shaking of the entry and lands at the Moebian spaceport of Moebianapolis, 5 miles from the Grey House.

As the dust had settled from the landing, a ramp from the aft of the goliath 2 began to lower itself and the four crew members within were greeted by President Edgewize, his friend warhog4ever, and AJ. The president wasted no time to greet his new guests.

Edgewize - *walks over to Demon Child with a smile running from ear to ear as he lifts his hand up to initiate a handshake with the legendary fighter that warhog4ever had told him about* "Words cannot describe my grattitude with your comming to our rescue, Demon Child. I am indeed, truely in your debt. I never would have dreamed that I would talk face to face with the legendary Warr..."

Demonchild - *held his claw up indicating to President Edgewize to ceace talking* "Spare me the pleasantries, Mr. President, but we aren't here to discuss my deeds of 2000 years ago. Therefore, I would like for you to get right to the point."

Edgewize - *lowers his hand back down to his side and goes back to having a straight face* "Yes, indeed. I have called upon your assistance to help out our cause against the Ur-Quan fleet which is on it's way to enslave the entire planet. The problem is that the Moebians do not have the number of people or the firepower to defeat the incoming fleet that the Earthlings did when the Ur-Quan invaded Earth."

Demon Child - "And you wan't US to help you fight of an entire fleet?! You have certainly gotten yourselves in way over your heads, but what is in it for us if we help you defeat the Ur-Quan?"

Warhog4ever - *takes one step torwards Demon Child* "I believe I can be of service in your compensation, Michael, er I mean Demon Child."

Everyone but warhog and Demon Child - Michael!? Demon Child's name is Michael!?

Demon Child - *looks at warhog4ever and points his finger at him* "You!? You son of a bitch!" *briskly walks over to warhog4ever with an angry look on his face* "I have got someting that I have been waiting for so long to give you!" *pulls his arm back behind him and acts like he is going to throw a punch at warhog4ever*

warhog4ever - *puts his arms up to defend himself* "Woah! Hold on, Michael! You should know very well that I was never a fighter!" Shouted warhog4ever in an angelic tongue.

Demon Child - *wraps his arms around warhog4ever and gived him a great big bearhug with a smile on his face* "Johann, you old bastard! I thoughy Ozikial (Neron) killed you when he stormed the gates of Heaven and slaughtered those 20 angels. The last that I had heard you were among those who died by his hand." replied Demon Child in an angelic tongue.

warhog4ever - *returns the hug and smile back at Demon Child* "It is a long story, my friend. I'll tell you on the way to the Grey House."

Shinitenshi - *looks at both Dark Roy and Chaos with a confused look on his face since he doesn't know what is being said between warhog and Demon Child but little does he know that Dark Roy and Chaos are just as confused as he is*

Shinitenshi - "Would you care to enlighten us about what the two of you are talking about, DC?"

Demon Child - "turns his head torwards Shini* "Johann and I have been old friends ever since before The War.

Dark Roy - "What exactly are you talking about with this War that you speak of?"

Demon Child - "The War between the Angels of Light and the Angels of Darkness, of course. When I sided with Satan, my contact with warhog had been severed and I though I would never see him again when I heard the news of Ozikail slaughtering 20 angels before he had been subdued by the Archangels."

AJ - "So you both are angels with different purposes, Correct? *looks at warhog* One is a messenger of peace. *turns and looks at Demon Child* While the other is the messenger of Death."

Demon Child - *turns to look AJ over and begins to have this odd feeling about him; a kind of feeling that he can't quite put is finger on it* "I don't like the term messenger of Death, I am more along the lines of a veteran soldier of battle, but you got the right idea." *Demon Child stares into AJ's eyes as if looking for something out of the ordinary about AJ from within for a few seconds after he made his reply*

Edgewize - Well, gentlemen and Commander? *looks at Demon Child and nods once* ?hall we head on over to the Grey House so we can get discuss our plan to defeat the Ur-Quan fleet?

Chaos - "Just lead the way and we will follow, Mr. President."

AJ - "If I may, Mr. President. I would like for you to go on ahead ahead without me. I would like to conduct a safety checkup on their ship."

Edgewize - "Very well, AJ. We will be in the Circular Office when you get finished with the safety checkup."

Shinitenshi, Dark Roy and Chaos boarded a limosine hired by President while Demon Child rode with warhog in his hover van while discussing what had happened after the Neron incident in Heaven. President Edgewize got into the back of his own personal limosine and lead the other two vehicals torwards the Grey House leaving AJ behind at the spaceport. Once the coast was clear AJ began to tap on his commlink.

AJ - "Mistress, Mordecai. This is ehjayb, do you copy?" Aftet repeating the hail another 4 times, Mistress Mordecai replied back in an annoyed state for having to be interupted from her hibernation.

Mordecai - "What is it now, ehjayb?"

AJ - "My apologies for interupting you, Mistress, but I have uncovered some important news for you."

Mordecai - "Go on. And this had better be as important as you say it is."

AJ - "The President has hired the services of the bounty hunter, named ShiniTenshi and a Demon Knight, named Demon Child."

Mordecai - "Demon Child, eh? That name is awefully familiar to me. When I had learned of my family's background which lead all the way to that to that of Lord Yggdrasil and how he was killed by the leader of the Demon Knights, named Demon Child back in the Earthen year 2001." *gasps* "Wait a minute! Demon child is still alive?! That is impossible!!! He is supposed to have died when he killed Zykuzal!!"

AJ - "I am afraid that Demon Child still lives, Mistress. But rest assured that without the rest of the Demon Knights to fight at his side he should not be too difficult to deal with."

Mordecai - "Do not underestimate the power that Demon Child possesses, ehjayb. Because I wouldn't be too suprised if he had become even more powerful now than he did back during my ancestor, Lord Yggdrasil's time."

AJ - "Understood, mistress. I'll plant a bug on their ship so you can hear what they will be planning on the day that you commence the invasion on this planet giving you a tactical advantage over your unsuspecting foes and will also keep you up to date as neccessary."

Mordecai - "Very good, ehjayb. Now get to it! Mordecai out!" *cuts off communication*

AJ walks on board the Goliath 2 with a wicked grin on his face and begins to search for the most inconspicious place he could find to plant the bug.

Ooo. I love it. Straightforward. There's already lovable characters and a very interesting plot at work with a traitor evident and a descendent of Yggdrasil. Awesome work, DC. Very close to what I'd make after Lost Angels. :)

Can't wait for the rest. :D

Of course, there will be even more new characters as the story progresses. :)

Since this will be a 5 part story, you can expect to see a lot more from Fenguin and Oboeguru, Schwitzer (among others) in the story. Along with a new twist into the plot which I'll save it for part 2 "Dark Alliance" within a month or so. ;)

As for Shankz's question. I have a little suprise for you. Cause not only am I bringing Shankz and PC back, (somewhere during part 3 Metamorphosis) I am also going to add Shankz's and PC's son (named Scauthra) into the story also. Scauthra will have the both magical abilities of PC and the warriorlike spirit of Shankz to cast spells and fight with melee weapons. :D

There is nothing that says the Earth didn't get destroyed by Zykuzal, you know? :p

However, my story will continue on with the same timeline as that from the "Lost Angels." Chapters 4-6 will be published this Friday. :)

There is still nothing that says that Crion didn't bring back Demon Child from the dead (so to speak) and had his wing smashed from Satsurikutenshi, does it? I CAN happen even if it was all a dream according to DC.

And there's nothing to say it's an official DKS, as it is made by Demonic Inc productions, as opposed to Carnage Productions. Think of it as a really, really good fan fiction.

Demonic Inc. is my own personal business, (created back in 2002) much like "Carnage Productions" is Carnage's business. Technically this is an official DKS and technically it isn't a DKS story. It is a DKS because I have gotten the permission from Carnage to write a DKS of my own, (hence the associated with Carnage Productions located in the beginning credits) and then it isn't an official DKS because the storyline and characters were all made up by myself. This story is written and produced by none other than yours truly. ;)

Chapter 4

In the Circular Office of the Grey House, President Edgewize and his staff are meeting with Shinitenshi, Demon Child, Dark Roy, and Chaos on their plans for repelling the Ur-Quan fleet.

OboeGuru - "The Heirarchy will have more firepower than we can ever possibly muster within 3 days and there is nothing we have that can stop them from taking over the entire planet."

Fenguin - "And if that wasn't bad enough, the people won't have time to evacuate the planet in time before the Ur-Quan arrive."

Demon Child - *leaning up against a wall by the dark area of the room with his arms folded* "So?"

Fenguin - *turns to look at Demon Child who doesn't even bother to look back at him* "You do realize that we are greatly outnumbered, outclassed, and are basically out of time to do anythign against the Ur-Quan?"

Demon Child - "I have fought with them before. Therefore, I should know their tactics and strategies."

OboeGuru - "Then you could enlighten us on you plan of action against them."

Demon Child - "I will do no such thing. Not until the Ur-Quan have arrived."

Edgewize - *burys his head in his hands* "I guess that means you have no plan. Right?"

ShiniTenshi - *takes a step torwards Edgewize* "That isn't always the case, Mr.President. There are some cases in which a veteran of war would refuse to reveal his strategies for fear that the strategies could be used against him from a leaked source."

Edgewize - *eyes grew wide along with shocked look appeared on his* "Do you mean to tell me that we could have a spy for the Heirarchy on this planet at this very moment?"

Chaos - "That is exactly where he is getting at!"

Dark Roy - "But there isn't enough time to create an investigation on who this spy could be."

Demon Child - "There should be enough time to have most of the non combatants to take shelter before the Ur=Quan arrive. I would like to take a single passenger vessel ahead to intercept the Ur-Quan and buy as much time as I can."

Fenguin - "You are going to take a one manned vessel and stall an entire Heirarchy fleet?"

OboeGuru - "What good whould that do other than signing your own death warrant?"

Shinitenshi - "While DC is stalling the Ur-Quan fleet I, myself, will be training and leading the troops into battle against the Heirarchy until he gets back. *points to both Dark Roy and Chaos one at a time* Dark Roy and chaos will assist the civilians going into shelters from the Ur-Quan fleet and will be joining in the battle when their job is complete."

Dark Roy and Chaos - *looks at each other and shrugs* "Sounds good to me."

Edgewize - "I haven't been able to use the Corvette ever since I became the president. It is fast enough to reach the fleet within a day and is durable enough to take several direct hits, but it does lack in armaments. I'll have my secretary escort you to the hanger."

Demon Child - "Fair enough. I must be leaving now since time is of the essence. Shini, you know what to do till I get back." Demon child starts to walk to the door but is stopped when Warhog appears in front of him blocking the door.

Warhog - "You are not intending to slow the Ur-Quan fleet down, are you, Michael? You are planning on sacrificing yourself hoping that you can destroy the Flagship and have the rest of the fleet turn back."

Demon Child - "I'll be back, Johann. There is no need to worry about me."

Warhog - "Always a warrior till the end." *gave off a slight smirk and then goes back to having a straight face again* "I'll be keeping watch on you from Heaven. Godspeed... er till death, my friend."

Demon Child and warhog embraced one last time before Demon Child left the Circular Office. Once Demon Child had left, warhog, himself disappeared into the shadows.

Edgewize - "I believe it is time for me to make a public announcement to the entire planet informing the people our intentions. I beleive that everyone else has a job to do. Good day, gentlemen.*

President Edgewize got up from behind his desk and walked over to another door while everyone else exited te same door they walked in from.

As the secretary escorted Demon Child to the hanger of the Corvette she couldn't help but stare at what a marvelous looking character DC was.

Demon Child - *sees the secretary staring at him from the corner of his eye* "I take it you have never seen an actual demon before, have you?"

Secretary - *quickly turns her head forward feeling embarrassed for staring at him* "I'm sorry. But no, I have never seen a demon before. Though I do know about what you have done in my college history class."

Demon Child - "History class? How could everyone know about what I had done on Earth?"

Secretary - *turns her head back torwards Demon Child with an eyebrow raised* "That is because our ancestors had once lived on Earth before it's destruction at the hands of Zykuzal."

Demon Child - "Oh. Well, that explains why everyone thinks I am some sort of legend."

Secretary - "Does it bother you being treated like a legend?"

Demon Child - "It is a distraction to everyone, including myself, with being treated in this manner. While else everyone is busy with having their attention turns torwards me, they are not paying attention to what they should be doing. Hence it becomes a distraction."

Secretary - "I understand. We are at the hanger, sir. May the Corvette serve you well.

The secretary opens and hold the door for Demon Child. As he walks through the threshold into the hanger she also caught a glimpse of Demon Child's uncrushed wing, tail, and his buttocks. Demon Child rolls his eyes and since he knew that the Secretary would be staring at him again as he boarded the Corvette. After a few minutes of preparation, Demon Child started the main engine to the Corvette and left the hanger and have plotted an intercept course for the Ur-Quan fleet.

Chapter 5

After 20 hours of total flight Demon Child has finally intercepted with the Ur-Quan fleet and activates the defensive force field to the Corvette expecting a little skirmish. The fleet of ships didn't bother changing their course or even alter their speed. Demon then decides to fly rings around the largest Ur-Quan vessel, the Kukulkan-359. After 10 passes around the Kukulkan-359 three single passenger attack fighters are launched and are in persuit of the Demon Child.

Demon Child - "It is about time they have noticed me here, now let's see if can find a way to slow them down."

The three fighters take up a cheveron formation as they chase the Corvette around the fleet of larger attack vessels and wasted no time in firing. After spending 10 minutes of swerving the Corvette from getting hit from the laser blasts from the Heierarchy fighters the missed shots has made a scuttle on the port side hull of the Kukulkan-359 big enough fpr Demon Child to fly the Corvette into and land on the deck in the interior of the Kukulkan-359.

Demon Child - *thinks to himself* "Alright, Not that I am inside it's time to find the engine room and raise some hell or better yet, take on their leader and become the commanding officer of this vessel."

The bridge of the Kukulkan-359 shakes as the blast from the attack fighters ripped a hole into the hull Which startles schwitzer and Koomann because the ship was not fully ready for battle.

Koomann - "What the hell is going on here?"

Schwitzer - "It appears that the hull has been breached and an intruder is on Deck 12. This is getting interesting."

Koomann - "Someone will have to tell the mistress that we have an uninvited guest on board!"

Schwitzer - "You came up with the idea, therefore, be my guest. I'll go belowdeck and keep an eye on our guest." *gets up and goes to the turbolift*

Koomann - *frowns, shakes his head, and then goes to the door to Mordecai's hibernation chamber mumbling* "I always get the short end of the stick."

The ramp of the Corvette lowers and Demon Child stepped onto the deck of the Kukulkan-359 and looks around. The technology of the Ur-Quan ship hasn't changed much since the invasion of Earth 2000 years ago. Before DC's visual inspection of the ship was finished he was greeted by two armed sentrys aiming their weapons at him.

Dark_Soul74 - "Well. Well. Look what we have here?"

Mtank - "You are certainly an unusual looking creature."

Demon Child - "Have the two of you looked in a mirror, lately? I'm sure that you will find something unusual looking if you have."

Dark_Soul74 - "He is a feisty one."

Mtank - "The mistress will enjoy making this one suffer many times before she get's tired of letting him live."

Demon Child - "I am sure that the whatever this mistress does to me won't nearly be half as bad as listening to the two of you talk." *creates two fireballs in each hand and throws them directly at the drawn weapons, disintegrating them* "You two have got to be asking yourselves one question, do I feel lucky?" *pats the sheathed Masamune* "Well, do you, punks?"

Both Dark_Soul74 and Mtank looked at their empty hands, then at Demon Child, then looked at each other, and finally bolted for the door.

Demon Child - *shakes his head as he thinks to himself* "Some things never change and stupidity will certainly be one of them."

Demon Child Walks through the doos and makes his way down the corridor torwards the Engine Room.

Meanwhile Koomann is in Mordecai's hibernation chamber about to disturb her from her slumber about the intruder on board.

Koomann - Shakes one of Mordecai'a tendrils "Mistress Mordecai? I'm afraid I have some bad news to report."

Mordecai - *opens her eyes and wraps her tendril around Koomann's neck partially strangling him* "I don't want to hear bad news, unless it is really important. So speak now or I'll have your head placed atop of my chair for decoration."

Koomann - *gasps for air* "It is important, Mistress. We have an unidentified intruder on board." Koomann said meekly due to the lack of air.

Mordecai - "And HOW did this intruder get on board in the first place?" *grips a little tighter and brings him closer to her*

Koomann - "Three of our fighters." *gasps* "Tried to shoot it down." *gasps for air again* "And breached the hull." *another gasp for air* "Allowing the intruder to come onboard." Koomann's face is beginning to change color due to lack of oxygen.

Mordecai - "Bring him to me. Use whatever means you can to capture him, but I want him alive. And one other thing, make sure that this intruder doesn't keep us from being ready for our invasion in the next 2 days. Got it?"

Koomann - *nods his head in agreement as his eyes begin to roll to the back of his head from the lack of oxygen*

Mordecai - "Good." *releases her grip on his neck and pushes him away* "Now get to it!"

Koomann - *leaves the chamber coughing from the lack of oxygen*

Chapter 6

Demon Child reaches the door to the engine room and enters. He sees Duddits hard at work underneath a console. In fact, Duddits is working so hard he didn't even notice that Demon Child is in the Engine Room with him. DC walks torwards Duddits, stands next to him, and looks down at him.

Duddits - *still working hard underneath the console and sees a pair of redish colored legs and feet from the corner of his eyes* "Good. I have got a helper, now. Could you hand me that flange sitting in the box to your left?"

Demon Child - "Sorry. But I am here to destroy the ship's engine."

Duddits - *quickly raises his head to take a look at the one who said that but forgets the his is still under the console and hits his head* "Ouch! Damnit! I don't think I heard you correctly, but did you just say that you were going to destroy the engine?"

Demon Child - "Indeed. You heard me loud and clear."

Duddits - *Slides out from under the console to have a look at the sabateur* "You don't look like you are part of the Heirarchy."

Demon Child - "You are a quick learner, aren't you? Now, if you will excuse me." *creates a fireball* "I have an engine to destroy."

Duddits - *digs into his pocket and takes out what looks like a remote control* "I'm affraid I can't let you do that. The mistress would have my head if this ship wasn't ready for battle in two days." *pushes a button and a metallic bar protrudes from the console, points at Demon Child and sends a current of electricity running through his body paralyzing him*

Demon Child - *tries to move but is unable as the fireball that Demon Child had created dissapates* "Damnit! What the hell did you do to me?"

Before Duddits could speak the door to the Engine Room opens up and Schwitzer walks in. Demon Child hears the door open but is still unable to move so he can't see who else is in the Engine Room with him.

Schwitzer - "He has teporarily paralyzed you with the electrical current that ran through your body. And as you can see, it works quite well, even against someone with you body stature. I designed it myself, amazing don't you think?"

Demon Child - "Just who the hell are you? Show yourself to me!"

Schwitzer - "Very well, if you insist." *looks over at Duddits* "Duddits, if you would?"

Duddits - "Fine." *gives off a sigh and pushes another button*

Mechanical arms drop down from the ceiling and grab Demon Child by the arms and moved him to the center of the room to which he was placed on pedestal. Once Demon Child was placed on the pedestal, the mechanical arms had let go of him and retracted into the ceiling. An energy barrier surrounds the pedestal. The effects from the paralysis have begun to subside and Demon child was able to move slowly.

Demon Child - *turns to look at Schwitzer* "You must be the brains of this ship right because everyone else is about as sharp as a dull knife?"

Schwitzer - *gives Demon Child a smirk* "I am flattered to know that you respect my intellect, but I am not their leader."

Demon Child - "Then who is your leader?"

Duddits - "Mistress Mordecai, descendant of Lord Yggdrasil is our leader."

Schwitzer - "She also happends to be my sister."

Demon Child - *replys in a sarcastic tone* "Oh great. And I though that Yggdrasil was a handfull to deal with.

Schwitzer - "So, it was YOU who were responsible for Lord Yggdrasil's death 2000 years ago; which also led to the downfall of the Heirarchy until Mistress Mordecai took control." *walks over to the barrier containing Demon Child* "Your name must be Demon Child, I presume?"

Demon Child - "I am, indeed. The one they call Demon Child."

Schwitzer - "Fascinating! The legendary warrior, Demon Child, is now my prisoner." *performs a victory dance*

Demon Child - *folded his arms across his chest with an unamused look on his face* "Yeah. Yeah. I am kinda sick and tired of being this legendary warrior that everyone thinks I am."

Schwitzer - *stops dancing and examines Demon Child closely with a rather puzzled look on his face* "I never would have though that you would be the modest type."

Duddits - "I hate to burst in on you two's pow-wow, but why have you boarded the Flagship Kukulkan-359 all by yourself anyway? It can't be because you wanted to destroy the engines."

Demon Child - "Actually, that was exactly what I was intending on doing."

Schwitzer - "To stop the invasion of planet Moebius from happening in two days? It doesn't make any sense."

The door to the Engine Room opens up again and Koomann walks in.

Koomann - "There is another reason why he is here. He is here to face off against Mistress Mordecai and become the new leader of the Heirarchy." *looks Demon Child right in the eye* "Isn't that right, Demon Child?"

Demon Child - "Perhaps. Perhaps not" *unsheaths the Masamune and taps the hilt of it to the barrier testing the strength of the barrier and resheaths it again*

Koomann - "The mistress would like to have a word with you, Demon Child." *points a blaster at Demon Child and nods to Duddits and Schwitzer*

Schwitzer reaches for a pair of binders to attach on Demon Child while Duddits pushes a button and the barrier around Demon Child disappears.

Demon Child knew he could have taken the three of them on, but his curiosity of meeting (and challenging) Mistress Mordecai had gotten the better of him and allowed himself to be captured by Duddits, Schwitzer, and Kooman. The three of them escorted Demon Child torwards the bridge to meet Mordecai face to face.

Woah! Hold on there! I realize how much sentimental value for many of you to be given a character in both "Pie Wars" (from Duddits) or with the official (and unofficial) "Demon Knight" stories from either Carnage or myself. Though I won't be able to find room to put everyone is this story, however there is no need to become irate about not being able to be fit into the story this far. To be quite honest with you all, with the popularity of the Demon Knight stories still going strong, I can garauntee that there will be another story after Part 5 "Cat Fight" which will open a new door for other people to be given a part in the next Demon Knight story. ;)

Within the next couple of weeks I will be typing the last 4 chapters of Betrayal. I plan have it released as soon as I can. :)

I know that it has been a long while since I have gotten time to finish with the story, so bear with me. I'll write a chapter (or part of a chapter) at a time till I can get my comp back into the full swing of things.

Chapter 7

(meanwhile Shinitenshi is giving a crash course in combat tactics to the Moebians)
Shinitenshi- (at the podium speaking to a large group of people) "As you all may or may not know, there is a fleet of Ur-Quan vessels heading for this planet as we speak. According to our sources, we have only a couple of days until the Ur-Quan invade Moebius. During that time the Ur-Quan intend to enslave the entire Moebian race with little resistance."

(Shinitenshi paused a few seconds as the audience murmurs on the news and then continues as the noise dies)

Shinitenshi- "I am here to train each of you all that I know about combat tactics. You will certainly be needing it in our fight against the Ur-Quan. I expect everyone here to muster at the Moebian Air Base in one hour for the training. That is all."

(during the same time Dark Roy and Chaos are policing the non-combatants to shelter for preparation of the invasion)

Chaos- "Damnit, don't you people get it? There is an Ur-Quan fleet heading torwards this planet and you all act like there is nothing to worry about!"

(The Moebian people continue on with their life as if Chaos was a complete idiot.)

Dark Roy- "And I though herding those Mynocks on Gamma Hydra IV was a difficult task. Boy, I can't be any more wrong."

Chaos- "But at least the Mynocks weren't as stubborn as these idiots."

(both Chaos and Dark Roy try unsuccessfully to get the Moebian people to shelter from the imminant attack from the Ur-Quan fleet)

Yeah, I know what you're thinking. OMG, DC!!! You have necro'ed your own thread!!! Well, I am getting back into the story again and I mean it this time. Now without any further ado, let's continue with where we left off with Chapter 7.

Chapter 7 1/2

[Back at the Kukulkan-359 Demon Child is being escorted by Duddits, Schwitzer, and Koomann to give an audiance to Mistress Mordecai]

Demon Child - "You would think that in the past two thousand years that there would be some kind of distinct advancements to your race's technology. Everything on board this vessel doesn't look any different than when I was on Yggdrasil's ship over two thousand years ago."

Koomann - [standing to Demon Child's left] *pokes Demon Child in the rib area with his blaster* "More walking and less talking."

Duddits - "The lack of any significant advancements of our technology is mainly due to the lack of any resources placed into the technology advancements in the Ur-Quan Heirarchy. The resources were mainly placed into the creation of the Ur-Quan vessels for invading other planets to raid them of their resources to produce more vessels for the Ur-Quan Heirarchy."

Schwitzer - "I did take the liberty to use whatever resources we had to install some technological upgrades for this vessel. Like the barrier that had surrounded you prior to being bound by those binders."

Duddits - "I am just happy that the equipment has worked properly, most of the inventions and technological upgrades from Schwitzer are prone to failure."

Schwitzer - *bitchslaps Duddits upside his head* "Shut up, damnit."

Duddits - "Ouch! I am merely speaking the truth, if you would make equipment that are consistent in it's quality then perhaps the Heirarchy would invest more resources into technological research rather than military power." *slugs Schwitzer back*

Schwitzer - Oh. A wise guy, eh? *pokes Duddits in the eyes*

Demon Child - "Just great. I am being escorted to the head honcho by the Three Stooges."

[Koomann, Schwitzer, and Duddits halted their progress to turn torwards Demon Child.]

Koomann, Schwitzer, and Duddits (speak in unison) - "Who in the HELL are the Three Stooges?"

Demon Child - "Forget it. You wouldn't understand the history of slapstick comedy from the denizens of planet Earth, anyway."

Schwitzer - "The only records we have about planet Earth is that YOU were the one who tharted what was supposed to be a routine raid on that miserable planet. There is another record that the Earth was nearly destroyed by an intergalactic parasite named Zykuzal who was ultimately defeated by you one hundred and fifty years later. The Earth is now deemed off-limits to the Heirarchy since it is such a dangerous planet."

Duddits - "Why did it take you one hundred and fifty years to defeat Zykuzal?"

Demon Child - "I was put into stasis to gather strength from the Heart of Light to defeat Zykuzal, but something went wrong and I was stuck in stasis for one hundred fifty years. During my time in stasis I had visions of the Earth being destroyed a little bit at a time by Zykuzal's hand."

Koomann - "I don't care about the history lessons. All I want to know is how you could possibly live after defeating entities that are much more powerful that you are?"

Demon Child - "I'm like a cockroach, you can't kill me." *smirks*

Schwitzer - "What is a cockroach?"

Demon Child - "Again. Forget it."

Koomann - "Alright. Let's go." *pokes Demon Child in the rib area again*

Demon Child - "Poking me with that thing is beginning to get on my nerves."

Koomann - "Move it!" *shoves Demon Child forward*

Demon Child - *thinks to himself* "The sooner I take care of Mistress Mordecai, the better. This guy is really getting on my nerves."

[Demon Child, Koomann, Schwitzer and Duddits continue down the cooridor]


I am going to be heading to Pennsylvania early tomorrow morning to celebrate my grand parent's 50 wedding anniversary. I'll be back some time Sunday afternoon or evening. I'll start on Chapter 8 when I get back. :)

Chapter 8

[In Mistress Mordecai's private gymnasium deep within the Kukulkan - 359; Mordecai paces back and forth while awaiting the arrival of her prisoner. With each and every passing minute she grows even more restloess than before. Her other officers remain silent, affraid to move or speak for fear of facing the wrath of their disturbed leader.]

Mordecai - *still pacing on the floor* "Grrr. Where are those morons withg my prisoner? What the hell is taking them so long?"

The other officers stare at Mordecai like deer in the hearlights but still remain silent.

Mordecai - *looks around and sees GrassDragon staring at her* "You! Answer me!" *walks briskly torwards him*

GrassDragon'seyes began to widen even more as Mordecai moved closer to him his mouth drops but still said nothing. The look of terror began to sink into him.

Mordecai - *wraps her tendril around her underling's neck and proceeds to squeeze* "Where are they? Tell me, damnit!"

GrassDragon - *speaks in a whisper as his oxygen supply is thinning out from suffocation* I......I....I...don't....know....Mistress.

Mordecai - *lifts up GrassDragon up with her tendrils* "That's not wat I want hear!" *throws GrassDragon into a wall and glares at the rest of her staff* "You are all pathetic! I want some answers as to where they are now or I'll..."

The main doors of the gymnasium open and in walks three Ur-Quan officers leading a muscular looking redish-colored creature with jet black hair to which she has only seen in historical files on the Ur-Quan's attack on Earth.

Mordecai - *turns torwards the three officers* "It's about time you got here! I was about to hunt the three of you down myself!"

Duddits - "That won't be necessary, Mistress."

Koomann - "As you can see, we were able to take care of the would-be saboteur."

Schwitzer - "With the help of MY inventions, of course."

Mordecai's attention quickly turns from Duddits, Koomann, and Schwitzer and torwards her captive. She inspects her prisoner with her eyes and finds that her prisoner is both strong and smart something she has rarely seen since she took control over the Ur-Quan fleet. She likes what she sees even if her prisoner is the one trying to stopp her from succeeding in invading the Planet Moebius.

Mordecai - *her scowl turns into a smile* "So YOU'RE the one who has been giving The Heirarchy so much trouble starting with 2000 years ago."

Demon Child - *with an emotionless look on his face* "That was just a bit of bad timing and planning on the Heirarchy's part."

Mordecai - *her smile goes away* "Bad timing and planning, huh? Well, looks like you have made a bad choice by boarding MY ship in hoping of buying some time to evacuate the Planet Moebius!"

Demon Child - "I haven't made a bad choice, yet." *breaks loose from his binders and shoves his three captors away he reaches for the Masamune* "And now I will complete my mission one way or another."

Mordecai - *begins to laugh* "If you reconsider now, I MAY spare your life to be my sex slave."

Demon Child - "It will do you no good to have me as a sex slave for I have no sexual organs and I would choose death over being a slave of yours, anyway. *readies the Masamune*

Mordecai - *readies herself* "We shall see, demon. I'll enjoy having your head as part of my collection of victims who have dared to stand against me."

The rest of the staff made a move to assist their leader.

Mordecai - *makes a gesture torwards her staff* "Stay back, you fools. This is between me and him."

Demon Child - Good! Now let's get this over with! *charges at Mordecai and takes a mighty swing with his Masamune at Mordecai*

Mordecai nimbly dodges the attack andswings her tendirils at Demon Child stiking him in the back.

Mordecai - "Is that the best you have? Tell me you aren't even trying?" *laughs*

Demon Child - *quickly recovers from Mordecai's attack* "I am just getting warmed up." *charges up a fireball* "Now I'll heat things up for you." *throws the fireball at Mordecai's tendrils toasting three of them*

Mordecai - *screams in pain from DC's fireball attack and goes into a mad frenzy* "You'll pay for that, demon!" *swings the rest of her tendrils frantically at Demon Child*

Demon Child deftly dodges and parries Mordecai's attack and counters with and attack of his own. Mordecai dodges Demon Child's attack. The two of them are evenly matched as the battle between Demon Child and Mistress Mordecai continues on for 15 minutes with no one gaining the upper hand. Both Demon Child and Mordecai take a short rest before resuming the battle.

Demon Child - *begins to breath heavily* "Looks like you have kept yourself in good shape. That explains why you are the leader of this fleet."

Mordecai - *catchers her breath as well* "The historical records of your strength have been accurate. I have waited for many years to fight a being as powerful as yourself."

Demon Child - "Most will only get one chance to fight against me so it may be your last time." *raises the Masamune and rushes at Mordecai again*

Mordecai block the attack and counters with a sweep to Demon Child's legs tripping him. Demon Child hits the floor. The Masamune flies out of his hand and skids across the floor.

Mordecai- *produces an evil laugh* "It looks like I have the advantage now, demon." *walks over to the Masamune*

Demon Child - "I still have enough strength to even the scales." *charges up a fireball and tosses it at Mordecai's leg*

The fireball makes contact with Mordecai's leg and she falls forward a few feet away from the Masamune. Demon Child jumps to his feet and rushes over to reaquire his sword. He dives torwards the Masamune but misses. Mistress Mordecai had gotten to the Masamune just before he did.

Mordecai - "Now I'll put an end to your troublesome life." *raises the Masamune over Demon Child*

Mordecai strikes Demon Child with the Masamune. The Masamune Shatters into pieces. Both Modecai and Demon Child look at the destroyed sword in amazement.

Demon Child - "The Masamune!! NOOOOOOOOOO!" *strength begins to wane*

Mordecai - "So you draw your power from this weapon that you have wielded for so long. And since you are too good for death, I'll make you my slave." *laughs maniacally*
