how do we know its no going to be just another expansion, like brood war. hmmn,,,,,, people just thought that SCII would be the new starcraft one, and for all we know SC:G Could be SC2, or atleast moving on the storie line.

yeah the fans would be so angry if it was a expansion. also computers now are much better than the were in 1998. that means they need to make a totally new 3d game and new stuff.

Give one good reason as to why Blizzard would make another expansion to StarCraft after the release of StarCraft: Ghost, a known bridge between StarCraft and StarCraft II. I'm willing to bet you can't because there simply isn't one.

First of all, no one waits ten years between expansions. That's utterly nonesensical. Second of all, StarCraft: Ghost has been acknowledged, by Blizzard, to bridge the storyline between StarCraft and StarCraft II. Third, and last, of all, given the aforementioned point you simply don't announce one game being a bridge to another, then releasing a totally different game first. It makes no sense. None.

SC:G? I always though the'd introduce the new RTS units in the game and play
with them in a FPS universe FFS!!! are they not doing that?!?

I do believe it's something along those lines. The old SC RTS units are in it, but I haven't heard about any new ones being introduced.

1.) Terran Light Marine, Protoss Vindicator, Unknown units yet to be revealed.
2.) Tactical TPS, not FPS.
3.) Yes, they are doing that.

..still i'd like a bit of mystery and maybe a few curveballs in the SC-G like the way the hybrids were introduced in the secert mission that was ace,
Could see the xel'naga in the flesh or maybe somemore of there technology and have the species utilies it in there own respective ways.

If you go on blizzards website, www.blizzard.com (http://www.blizzard.com), it will tell you that ghost is a different type of starcraft game, so it isnt SCII.

Pointless? No. Logical? No. You see, Blizzard released StarCraft and then it's expansion, Brood War, what-- a year later? Two? Then they wait five plus to release another expansion even though the game has already been continued through another game? Yeah, right. Plus, an expansion, as opposed to StarCraft II, would anger many fans to know end. I for one would be sorely disappointed, not to mention confused at their apparent lack of logic.
