No, this is not my regualar halo problem thread, actually this inst really a problem but here goes:

I was playing my weekly Halo campaign with my brother- I was blasting a grunt with a needler when i swear i heard the grunt say "f*uck you". My brother heard it also.... Did it actually say that or was i just hearing things?

Hmm... I don't think that is one of the quotes a grunt says. Well I am not sure, so I checked the guide with all the phrases that characters from Halo can say, and that wasn't one of them. You probably misheard something, or that could be one of the undocumented phrases.

Ive heard alot of units say different things. Im pretty sure ive heard grunts yell "Shi-!!" and more.

Yea, I've heard grunts say that a lot. I think I'm just hearing it wrong, like he's really saying "Hurt you" or "kill you" or something, I dunno, they have such whiney voices it's hard to tell sometimes haha.

And a Nerdy sidenote:
Dan oh yea, Grunts don't know a word of English. Everything you hear a grunt say is run through translation software in your helmet. Seems it was the easiest of the languages to decipher in the world of Halo. Grunts actually grunt a lot in their speech, which is how they got their name. :D

LOL Maybe they were saying something unknown so the program made it sound like cusswords. OR the designers decided to do something funny and play tricks on us. Either way its funny.

Haha, yea it is. Listening to Grunts say random stuff is the best. "I call his melmet," "in your face!" and "Can't... run... with... thing... on... back!" Are some of the funniest ones I've heard :)

Grunts are so funny .. And anoher thing that is funny is in legendary to leech a plasma grenade onto an elites head so when it blows up he flies into the ground and tries to get up while you shoot him and then screams like a little bitch when u kill him...
Also ive heard grunts say "I call his gun!!" and why is it when they are asleep and you kill them with a melee shot they keep on talking...

and they run around screaming "arrrggggghhhhh get it off of meeee"
