this is a little storyline i made up for warcraft IV. I just really wanted to continue the story since the end of Frozen Throne is so beast! Its like an overview that goes through the story for each race, like campaigns. Not very detailed at all and pretty short. I only have the little introduction typed though. I hope you like it though...
Warcraft IV
Death and Honor
15 years have passed since the 3rd war. The scarred world of Azeroth has been released from the terrifying grip of battle. But though the ashes are dark and old, all fires may be rekindled. For some time the races of the world were at peace. Trade flourished and many lives that had been torn apart were rebuilt. The peace was not meant to last, not in a world with so much to fight for…
The shamanistic orcs of Durotar created a vast empire in the barrens of Kalimdor. With the tauren and trolls by their side they ultimately rebuilt their once shattered race. The corrupting influence of Kil’Jaeden and his demon agents had worn off, and the orcs were now free to do as they pleased. Under the leadership of the warchief Thrall, they converted whole mountains into strongholds, and stood triumphant over Kalimdor.
On the island of Teldrassil, the stalwart Night Elves worked to create a new home for themselves. Though the world tree still stood atop Mount Hyjal, the woods of Ashenvale had been ruined forever. Now called Felwood, the forest around the mountain had been inhabited by wild demons and beasts. So the Night Elves nursed their wounds, and the mighty druid Malfurion Stormrage prepared to sleep once more.
On Theramoore, the new human colony thrived. They allied themselves with the Horde, and grew every weary of war. Jaina Proudmoore named herself Queen of the land, and her majesty grew wide, and unchecked throughout southern Kalimdor. But to the East on Azeroth, the humans of Stormwind replenished the once mighty alliance between the dwarves and gnomes. They built a new country, which came to be called Arthian, in memory of their lost prince.
So the world was quiet, but for 1 race.
Far north on the continent of Northrend King Arthas began the gruesome task of rebuilding Icecrown Glacier, and the Undead’s Broken Empire. He massed an army of his own behind the gates of his citadel, and waited for a time to strike. In the Trisfal Galdes of the Plaguelands, the lich Kel’Thuzad pressed the attack against the banshee Sylvanas Windrunner and her rebel Forsaken. Kel’Thuzad only awaited the Lich King’s command to crush their remaining forces.
And still a few souls are unaccounted for. The Blood Elves, along with the Naga and renegade demon hunter Illidan Stormrage fled back to Outland, and nobody knows what became of their plans…
what do you think?
