I was reading the tuturial on StarCraft.org, about making the dropship use burst lasers w/o crashing. It said to highlight the Dropship and click Decompile but nothing happen. I click Decompile again and again and yet stell nttn.

did you set an output file name and directory by using the browse button?

Once you click decompile you should get the file iscript.txt in your IceCC folder.

ya now I notic a new .txt folder in my IceCC folder thanks.
Two more things. how do you change a spirate for a building. trieng to replace the Science Facility as "starbase.grp". I try doing the same as changing the Marine but It doesnt work for me for buildings.
Last thing. I trieng again, to change the Goliths Talking portrait into sttn else. its a .smk file.
Trieng to put all that in WinMPQ

hahahaha, someone else told me something like that befor. Alright I said Thanks For Your Help, And I want to know how to how to edite buildings spirates and edite talking portraits.

that's still not helping, you know....
but for changing sprites, I think you have to completely replace the said sprite; for instance, if the starport was unit\terran\starport.grp, and you wanted it to change into the Zerg Hive which was unit\zerg\hive.grp, then you would copy the hive.grp file, along with its .loc if it has one, rename them to starport.grp/loc, then add them to the .MPQ. I think that's how you do it.

You can do it that way, which is better if you don't want to mess with the iscript like crazy, as well as button editting, or you can go into Arsenal III and under the sprites tab change the sprite to a different one. You can also switch portraits here. To actually make a new portrait, you need to get the smacker tools available (by link, anyway) at Starcraft.org.

Im using WinMPQ and I got a .grp files I want to use. I want to replace the Terran Science Facility with the "StarBase.grp" that I have.
How do I that....the easy way?

Well you would insert it as unit\terran\Research.grp into your MPQ. You will have to edit the iscript.bin for the Science Facility unless you have the lifting/landing frames of the Starbase.

ya I do have to fix the iscript.bin, but anyways sence the Science Facility have to be renamed as "Research", what abou the Battlecruiser,and Valkary?

You can easily look in the MPQs to figure out the names instead of asking what they are.
Battlecruiser - unit\terran\BattleCr.grp
Valkyrie- unit\terran\bomber.grp

I dont know were they are. If you mean In WinMPQ they dont have all the names of the units, only the ones I put in to modify.
