Hello people, Your (least :P ) favorite warboards member has come with a survey, so what does really make a good campaign?

All the above, you can't have a good campaign without all of those, and whats the real point of this poll? Of course all of it needs to be included to make a great campaign. Maybe it would have more purpose if it was "Whats the MOST Important thing in a good starcraft campaign?".

I think a good campain should have none stop action. Fewer parts where you have to mine, and alot of good timing music.

I tend to like maps with new voices. I just think it's interesting. I'm also the kind of person that enjoys Easter eggs along with tiny asthectically pleasing things. If you've played The Shifters, I really liked how JudasCloud layed out Augustgrad. Dunno if that's how it actually is, but it did really look like a dump.

Play one of the campaigns at Campaign Creations (http://www.campaigncreations.org). Those are what great campaigns are made of. If you can't create something that is up to par with them (which is hard to do), something just as close to what they are, will make a good campaign. If you never played it before, The Antioch Chronicles (http://www.campaigncreations.org/starcraft/antioch/index.shtml) is a great campaign and is very inspiring or is to me in at least some way.

Somethings that I think could make a great campaign are:
Voices
Storyline
Characters
Music
The story has to be creative. (E.G. If you want something heart wrenching, you need to have angst.)

Triggers do not make a good campaign, but something sloppy and unorganized can make it bad. The terrain has to look real, creative placement of doodads, jagged cliffs, etc...

Being a writer, I like the storyline the most; however you definitly need to have good hard levels. The storyline is what seperates it from just a level but if you can win it with just a SCV then it isn't going to be great.

Oh and I quite enjoy triggers, so some of the storyline can be inside the actaul game and it adds an unexpected twist to game play.

i voted other because my opinion is...

ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!!
you need a storyline, good levels, good terrain, etc. u need it all, because if u have the best storyline but crap for levels, no one will play it. same in vice versa.
