My roommate and I play co op aginst the computer, and we have wore all the maps out several times over, I have been trying to make a few maps where we spawn next to each other and the computer spawns on the other side of the map, (we usually play about 4-8 other computers) and then they build up and try and fight us. I've tried useing the AI scripts but the computer just mines over and over and never builds no matter what script i use. does anyone have any guidance for me? Thanks

My goal i to make a map where I can chose each players start location and the computer will build up and attack like any human player would, or better.

Alright, here's your problem. Someone must have told you to use "Run Terran Custom Campaign" as an AI script, right? Well, I usually use INSANE or EXPANSION INSANE. I only use CUSTOM CAMPAIGN when I change everything and the computer doesn't know what to do anymore. You see, the attack waves are set for EASY, MODERATE, DIFFICULT AND INSANE. For example, if you take out the computer's Siege Tanks and it's INSANE, it'll only send you ONE WAVE of Marines and Vultures. This will be because it's wondering where in red hell the Siege Tank trigger went. You didn't by any chance DELETE anything on the computer's UNIT LIST, did you?

Using campaign AI's (easy-medium-difficult), you must preplace buildings for them in order to be effective. Custom AI and Insane, however, can start with a standard CC and 4 peons, and expect them to build and tech up. They also expand their bases.

What I still don't get, however, is why the computer (when running insane) brings peons blindly to your base (possibly to expand on your minerals?).
