Hi guys!
Im working on a new project, Golem Legends. It is going to be with tech buildings for all 7 players, resources for kills, and air spawning golems! I forgot one thing, but going to edit it. The game has choke points, and if you want, w/ ur air units, can attack the other guys golem chooser!
cool?

For the most part I like your Idea. However, I dont think attacking your opponents gollem chooser is ok. I could just see everybody rushing up to air, and charging the gollem choosers, it would be like attacking the masser in a massing game.

They are surronded by rock walls, in the middle of the map, and you must punch through spore colonies that have 1000 hit points and do 1000 damage. that i figure would be a waste to attack, but its an added strategy.

crap, i have to put this on hold, and maybe rework the whole map because:
a. its too small for the 7 players i want on the map
b. i forgot to put in the golem parts and stuff, where u create supergolems:o !
c. the terrain kinda sucks
Do you think that scvs/drones/probes should be selectable units that can build bunkers/missle turrets/sunken colonies/spore colonies/photon cannons?

Well since you put it like that... Although if you do, do that you should make them a bit weaker, so that it does become an aplicable strat, and not just a "waste to attack".
(Idea here) Once a player has gotten like a certain number of killz, you could give them a special that they could use. One of them could be to control the spores in the mid for a limited amount of time, so that if somebody dose attack, you could get killz from it.

Ok, ill work that in. i want this to be one of those maps that gets many different versions, so this wont come out until at least early november. i like the applicable strat idea, but again, do u think that workers should be chooseable units?

I think that would be a good idea. If you do put them in, I think you should give a limited amount of resources for the worker to make buildings wit. You could also make one of the specials, "Get more Minerals" or something like that.

this is starting to sound like a reg map w/ golem aspects, not a golem map with cool addons.
ill try to find that fine line.
