Is there any way to get more then 255 locations or an editor that lets you go past 255?

Nope. You can't go past 255 in any way.

Use multiple locations, moving locations, or a system of triggers, units, burrowed units, flying cloaked units, etc. That way, you can do many things you couldn't normally. One is using flying wraith's to hold a location. Then move locations between them. It's an interesting way of doing it...
