Since like, nobody ever visits over here anymore, (whenever i post, it gets like, one reply or so.) we might as well delete this whole D2 Section. You guys are so worried about spam taking up sitespace(i am assuming that's why spam is persecuted here so basly, besides being just plain annoying. many threads i find rather fun are labeled as "spam threads" and deleted) so might as well delete this area. No one would miss it as no one appears to care about this sub-forum anymore anyways. :concern: I mean, whenever someone over here posts people are all like "WTF?! SOMEONE POSTED ON DIABLO FORUM! OMG!! CALL THE MOD SQUAD!!" I have tried posting a few things over here and a whole bunch of people have started acusing me of thread necromancy. Not my fault this place is deader than the dodo bird.

Gia.. How dare you say nobody would miss it. I know I would miss it.. although nothing happens here I love this forum as if it were my own. :P But really, this has been a concern of mine, just ask GrassDragon. Everytime we're in the IRC at the same time I am always asking him to help me think of something to post in here. I mean, didn't you see my post in the Members Lounge the other day asking people to help this forum out? Thats why it has been getting a LITTLE more activirty lately. But it would help if we had a mod who actually came here maybe.. I never see Neo around. And it gives us a little bit of a handicap because we don't have a d2 site yet, but hopefully thats why we haven't seen Neo lately. Maybe he is working his heart out on that site. :P

And If anybody raised a thread from the dead here I wouldn't be mad or anything.. I'd be happy, and I'm sure the mods and AJ would too.. at least somebody would be using this forum.

Gia, I know how you feel. Believe me, the Warcraft Town Hall seemed pretty much dead to me when I first joined WB (not the Maps and Mods, btw. It's just that I'm not a mapper, so that sub-forum doesn't interest me), however, I would come on to WB daily and try to answer every question posted in the Strategy forum. Thus, it has gotton a lot better.

Now, I think we just need a higher quantity of threads, and lots of "new" posts. New members look for these things, and, seeing a bit more of a vibrant Diablo community, they might be convinced to start posting here.

I have to agree with you that this place is dying (or dead?). One of the main problems is we don't have many Diablo users, not that many people post in this area anyway. The other problem is some of the our Diablo people don't play Dialbo much anymore (like me) so we aren't inclined to start new threads, only reply to them.

I think we have to be careful with trying to increase the quantity of threads though; if we start new threads just for the purpose of having more threads, that doesn't help at all.

And about Neo, I hope he's either working on the site, or dealing with real life, 'cause otherwise he needs to get in here and spice things up :P

I really hope this section isn't deleted though. Even though only a few of us actually use this area (5 or 6 maybe?), I still think it would be missed. We just need to put some chili powder in it, not throw it in the trash and cook something else (my profound metaphor of the day :P).

I think what we need to do is make Discussion threads, such as item discussion, quest discussion, and so on and so forth. That way, it looks as though we are an active community on the Diablo forums.

But yes, I agree with you GrassDragon, there isn't enough new blood to the Diablo forum, so threads are only rarely created. Compare this to the Warcraft Forum (not including Maps and Mods), and there are not many active members that post frequently (myself and a few others do the honours, basically), but there is a large supply of people who post questions open for discussion.

You know guys, i never actually meant it. I was just ranting and hoped to god someone might actually come over here and see what the whole one new post was, and maybe look around v_v:smash: Smashy Smashy! :smash:

And we have shown that there are at least 4 active people, and another one including EdvardMunch.

I would be up for a Diablo 2 marthon with the people from WB (see EdvardMunch's thread for more details).

I do appologize for my absence, I have not been being a good moderator as of late, and I hope to correct this in the recent future. I will be the resident paladin addict and strategy delver, in case anyone needs help with certain issues.

So, yes, there will be a lot more coverage going on for Diablo II very shortly. Yet again, my sincerest appologies for my lack of moderatorship.

The problem with our Diablo fourm is that everybody here are pretty much Veterans at the game, and don't really have any questions or problems with the game.. We just need to get some new people in here. If we could get a Diablo Discussion subforum or something, it may help out quite a bit. I dont remember who said something about this. i'm sure there is an exact post like this. :P

No worries, hopefully once we get the site up.. and such we will start getting more visitors to the forums. Believe me, even though the forums are a bit slow, its not that bad. I did try to get things more active but its to hard when theres barely 10 people total who even care about D2 ><

Yeah, once the Diablo site gets set up, we'll have a huge supply of people asking questions and such. Believe me, the only reason that the Battle Planning and Strategy Forum for Warcraft is working effectively is through links to WB from warcraft.org, etc.
