Lesson of the day, kids: Microsoft can't program web browsers. If your Temporary Internet Files folder becomes too full, all kinds of things happen, like the inability to save pictures in formats other than bitmaps, or the inability to view source on a webpage. Don't even get me started on the endless ways to have IE auto-run or auto-install programs locally with user or sometimes even system priveledges without your permission or knowledge.
Simple Solution: Empty the Temporary Internet Files folder

WOot! Thanks Exy!
To bad that doesnt help me.
Somehow I think it has to do with my computer not having a set file association to jpgs or something. Or whatever, since it happened after i installed ACDSee, which was completly retarded (had to uninstall -- wtf let me view my pictures not take my address -.-). Whatever happened to simple image viewers? That would be like one of the reasons Id switch to Windows XP >_>
Oh well. I guess I will have to deal with the stupid BMPs of retardness.
And to be fair Exedore, my IE has never auto-installed anything malicous for as long as I have used it. But then I dont leave everything at its default settings ;)

there...siggy set...but i think 25 kb is too small... :(
Odd, it's happening to me as well...
Mozilla FB, Win XP... I might switch to my Linux half of my computer, and see if that affects it, although I rarely pull that out, due to the fact that I need to download wine, and I have no idea to make it work... o.O

think i know...maybe
See, when im adding the image to my page, i click on preview, and if its okay i take the link from there by cliking on properties, and not off the real page.
