I believe he means what special ability does the Valk have in that screen shot. I'm not to sure, because I disn't think Valks had any special abilities.. Maybe thats a mod or something?

that screenshot is from the broodwar beta, along with a few others that slipped through and were used publicly but not from the final version...note the difference in the valkyries name, design, missile contrails, and portrait too?

It was a scratched ability from the SC beta testing... Terran folk testers did cheesy Ovie hunting with it (kicked the Afterburners, went in2 the Zerg's base, hunted and out again). ;)

as said it's a skill from the beta, you can put it back if ya wanna in mod cuz blizzard left it there, the skill name is "speed busters" which doubled the valkiery speed, but they decided to remove it.
you have many more things in bw beta removed, like the 3rd archon, new un-burrow graphic for lurkers, weird abilities for medic, strange abilities for dark archon, glasses to valkiery, other graphic to disruption field and more...

The only difference I can see is the spot of the ability button changed one to the right and now there's fire burning out of the thruster. This indicates that the button changed when the ability was toggled. Simple eh?

Look, in the first picture the "Afterburn" ability was toggled off. The energy of the selected Valkyrie is 200/200 which indicates it doesn't use energy which means it isn't afterburning. In the picture you posted you see the "Afterburn" was toggled on. The ability button changed and the energy of the Valkyrie is being used. Hence it's at 58/200.

Aren't "Speedbusters" and "Afterburner" two different words with the same meaning? I mean, both abilities hint at the possibility to gain a greater speed when enabled, doesn't it?

I've tried arguing that in the past, but never with much success. It seems the difference between the Hallucinated Dark Archon and the "Harmonized" Archon (as we prefer to call the merge between a High and Dark Templar), isn't that big. Only the color of the inner body seems to be of a slightly different shade. Hard to notice, but it's there :)
