WoW Stress Test Screenies - Warning to 56kers

Okay, I've decided that it would be a good idea for all of use to take some screen shots and put the best ones here so the unlucky ones can see what they are missing.

Me just meeting up with someone in my party. The deathgaurds are pretty much there to look pretty, although if an enemy comes near them, they will go and kill it. They might also give you a quest.

The guys with the ! above their heads are quest givers. When you take a quest, the ! turns into a ?.

Me dead. You can pay a guy there with experience to revive right in that place or you can go looking for your body. Sadly, I usually pick going to look for my body, which is usually a long while away.

It is possible to get horses in the game. Sadly, I think you have to be something like level 70, have a lot of gold, and have a lot of skill points to get one. The one riding right now is an NPC.

I included this picture to show the rested thing. If you stop playing for a while and go to the inn, when you resume you can get 200% experience from monsters. It goes away shortly, though. If you play for a very long time, the 100% will go down, I think.

An interesting glitch. I went to sit down and found myself far away from the bench where I was to sit down. So here I am, sitting in midair facing a bench.

Something very odd happened with Blizzard then. 430 million in one server after everyone was booted out and I was having trouble getting in. Pretty weird.

Mmk, that ends all of that. I hope that they fixed the problem so I can go play some more.

WoW is actually very friendly with internet connection as far as I've seen. I've actually run BitTorrent in the background while playing WoW (AKA sapping about half of my bandwidth) and I survived :P.

The main thing I've noticed is that it generally runs on a low framerate. This can drop even lower if you A) don't have the RAM to pull the game off in the first place or B) you're in an area with a lot of people (AKA Stormwind). Mind you, I know people that have cable, a gig of RAM and a kickin' videocard and they don't feel the slightest lag in SW.
