I am not sure how vB handles it, but I ran into the same problem on phpBB.

Someone needs to look at the post bit and change it around.

I can also shrink the sig if need be, but that is so annoying.

There might be a cell or something with pixels set to wide, I am running 800x600 so it is a res thing. Might want to make room in the postbit to allow a 125x500 sig (max here to or will it be different?) It might fix it.

I don't know how much more room I can spare. ;) The left side's size needs to be what it is to be able to cope with long usernames + avatars, and the message/sig takes up most of the rest of the room. :(

Like, At BF the Avatar and Sig area lined up, no matter how big the post was, becuase they had it setup that way.

I dont suggesting adding anything width wise... just make the postbit larger hieghth wise?

Meh. I dont know, you might try switching down to 800x600 and seeing if you can pin point the offending cell or whatever that is stretching out when we use images :(
