So, it appears that a rather high ranking analyst in the Defense Department under Douglas Feith has been leaking vital secrets to the Israeli government.

While the FBI would not reveal the identity of the alleged spy at this time, it has been reported that an investigation has been going on for some time as is reported by this:
Multiple sources have told CNN that the investigation is well along, and one government official described the evidence against the suspect as a "slam dunk case" and said "there has been no decision to prosecute the individual."

Apparently, the feds are quite sure of their target and their proof. Thoughts, comments? Possible consequences it might have on the election?

Did you know that there are many known spies infiltrating our government that both the US and the other country (somewhat) openly acknowledge as spies, yet allow them to remain where they are?

The New Zealand government recently got hold of a Israeli spy, as well. It seems that the Israeli government has quite a network of spies, doesn't it?

Step away from the Tom Clancy novel. Slowly.

Spies, by their very definintion are undetected. Once they become known, they are no longer spies, are they? So what you're saying, in essence, is that the United States knowingly shares intelligence with foreign countries. That's no revelation at all.

Spies are only successful if they are not discovered.

Spies are only successful if they are not discovered.I'm sorry, I meant in ally nations. We have spies in ally nations that are declared officers, which means the host government is told that they are a spy. However, many of these agents have subordinates who are not declared yet are doing work in the country, recruiting informants, etc.

But this should not be such a big shock to us...I mean, if I were Isreal, then I would want to know what the strongest nation in is world is doing, especially since the Isrealis live in a very viotile part of the world.
