PvT: What is the safest way to fast expo?

I like to fast expo as toss against terran, but sometimes it can be pretty dangerous if they are going for a fast attack like joyo or gundam or something to that extent. I was wondering what y'all think is the safest way to go about doing this?

expo instead of robo and hope they didnt 2 fac vult, or gundam and scout it.

expo to another main or youre min only btw, so you dont get cliffed.

overall its not a good strat imo, youre econ boost will not compensate for youre econ loss either by harassment or by an attack, if the terran does neither, he sucks ass and you should win anyway.

(except if he 1 fac expoed, then theres not much he can do, but well, thats what you get if you 1 fac expo, i really hate that build)

I hate that build too. It can only be done vs friends otherwise you'll lose.

When playing against Terran don't you think it's better to spread like a virus ? It will keep him busy destroying your expo so you can concentrate on teching up and amassing army ? I'm not sure though since I never played with good Terran player for a while.

it u have to see if he is going 2 fact or 1 fact tanks, it 2 fact, dont expo fast wait till u killed first rush then exp, if hes going 1 fact tanks, u kno he is going for fast expo so u do fast expo too

Perfectly safe build is 20 robo, 25 gate, 25 observatory, expo around 41.

Faster expo build if he is not making marines (you must scout and see that he has no more than 2 marines), make a goon, then get goon range as soon as you can afford it (while the goon is building, expo to another main at 28 supply, if he's going 2 fact, don't transfer your probes yet, so that you can keep them safe.

On a map like vertigo you can just 12 nex and there's nothing he can do about it. If he tries to counter by expoing, you just expo again.

I did 1 gate with obs expo vs Fazant fast push and fast expanded to another main and it worked.
