Here's a little eye test. Please note, this is not a substitute for annual eye exams!

But anyway, I could read everything on there when close to the screen except the middle word, I couldn't figure out the 2nd and 3rd letter in it. =P

OOC: can somebody please tell me how to insert pictures from the paint program onto my sig?alright, listen up
from the paint program:
click file, save as
select file type "JPEG" from the list
name it and save it somewhere, like the desktop
you need a webhost of some kind, upload it to your webhost. If you really need I can host it for you just for a little while
when writing a post, click the pic button, its the landscape button near the smiley button (advanced mode)
enter the URL where the pic is hosted. example: http://home.earthlink.net/~bluemicrobyte/pic.JPG (note, it must be caps .JPG, or it wont work for some reason
the pic should appear. if not, check the URL and try again.
yer done!!

*cough* karma *cough* who says it has to be a jpg?
oh and technically you dont need a web host, just an image host. kupatrix (http://www.kupatrix.com) works quite nicely. simply click on uploading, then click the link that says "(click here)". Note that kupatrix is caps sensitive for file extensions, so if your image is for example .PNG and not .png, you would simply replace the caps with non-caps where you put the directory of the file, no need to actually change the file itself. *cough* more karma then BMB*cough*
We need to sticky up a Picture -> Signature FAQ thread.

I'm not a virgin and I can see fine.
Does it truely matter if you're a virgin or not? I mean shouldn't this be based on if you sincerly care for a person?

dude, JPG is the worst file EVER!! ><
unless it's a picture of something from real life, but if he's using paint, he should save as either GIF or PNG.

You can use JPEG, its the most common file type, and it works just fine for what your tryin to do now
Valjean

It's not the most common file type. I think he's tryin' to post a MSPaint image. If the image you want to make/post is not a real life image, you should not use JPG or JPEG.

GIF fucks with your colors. They all have their drawbacks..

Let me settle this little dispute so we can get back on topic:
GIF is for small color table/solid color images. It is also the only file type that supports short-frame animation. Use this file if you don't have alot of colors in your image, or it's a smaller size picture. Using GIF on larger pictures or pictures with a large color table will result in poor image quality and a high image size.
JPEG is, in fact, the most common file type, contrary to Werewolf's post. This is the most powerful of the three common types, and generally has the highest quality to compression ratio. What makes JPEG so easy to use is that it compresses when not in use, i.e. when it's not opened, it reduces file size drastically. It also supports large color tables without a drastic increase in file size. However, it doesn't support small color tables easily, and you'd better off use GIF for that instead. It does not support animation.
PNG is a strange format. It's still under devolpment, and thus, has some great strengths, but also major weaknesses. PNG supports the highest possible image quality, but it has a huge file size and doesn't support animation. PNG2, which is in devolpment, is planned to support animation and have compression qualities such as JPEG. PNG is not a common file format, nor is it supported by most image hosting sites.
Overall, I'd really have to say JPEG is the best format overall, but GIF and PNG do have their strengths. I believe that when PNG2 comes out, it'll blow the rest out of the water.
