Demanding Starcraft movie

People, I am a big fan of Starcraft and i think that Blizzard should make a movie for Starcraft. They could do it in cg like the Final Fantasy movie The Spirits Within. If you have anything you would like to add please reply.

While I would like to see a StarCraft movie, I doubt that Blizzard would have the resources, either human or financial, to make one at thist time. But if they were, rather it was CG animation or not, I believe it would be a must for Blizzard to be heavily involved in the production of the film--to prevent the movie industry from ruining it. :p

Not if you do a totally different take on this movie... Insead of telling it from Raynor's perspective through most of the terran, throw it over to the commanders, and see how they do it, with all the struggles... That, or do it from a totally different characters view... Maybe take all 3 perspectives at once. One Zerg, one Terran, one Protoss... That would give it triple plottage, and you'd be like 'DUDE OMG TEH TERRAN R TEH PWNAGE OMG WTH!?!?!!!!115' and such... Then we could debate that!

even though ST didn't make it (although i followed it from ep. 1 to its eerie discontinuation), SC has a wider and major fan base...it could only air 1 season or so, enough to make the "story" known, and then do a major spin-off into Starcraft: The Motion Picture.

Oh dear gosh, no... Not more LotR. The books//movies are enough for about everyone. I mean, you say you want more, then it's just overkill... 'Sides, every time I hear LotR, I think 'Oh no, not another map on B.net', as most maps are LotR that I see... x.x

I'll say what I always say when brought up with this question: Make the first Starcraft book the script. He took it perfectly and described things with quite a great plot. It would convert quite easily to a movie and create quite a good one.
