Yes it should, and I agree with Steathydeath, the zerg (in general) have no mind of their own, since the Overmind controls them, you should be asking if the overmind is a friend of foe, if that was the question, then I would say it is a foe.

I agree completely here. The Overmind is against everything but himself, and is the only one in SC that hasn't allied with ANYONE.

Zerg aren't evil, just animals. Something without a conscience can't be evil. The overmind, on the other hand, probably has a conscience and is evil.

Is it really fair to call any side "evil"? There is only opinion in war, the opinion on gives to themselves, and others give to them. Personnally, since I play Zerg a lot, I believe they are neither because they are mindless, Kerrigan is the master mind behind it all.

Although the concept of total mindless killing and being an insignificant and expendable part of one consciousness is tempting, I'd have to decline being infested.

Remember, the Overmind was formed from the collective consciousness of all creatures within the Zerg swarm. Just as the billions of brain cells result in an entity greater than the sum of the parts- a conscious, reasoning, self-aware being- so too do the Zerg give rise to the Overmind. And, though the Overmind itself was destroyed, there still remains the undeviating drive for perfection. However, this perfection may never be attainable, as Kerrigan- a Zerg being borne from a flawed creature, a pathetic human- is the new lord of the Swarms. Thus, despite the instinct for perfection, she may ignore it and pursue her own goals. Nevertheless, she is the enemy of all, and the Zerg remain foe to all.

My opinion is evil, since they're controlled by evil entities (Overmind 1st, now by the "Queen bitch of the Universe" herself).

The Zerg themselves aren't evil. Both their leaders tho, Kerrigan and the Overmind, are power-hungry. But if the Zerg had a mind of their own, well, read what I think in Spoken. It'd be hard to explain here.

Well to be honest, they are not "evil", per se; the Zerg are merely acting upon their instincts. The Overmind was merely a semi-autonomous representation of the mass communication and instincts of all Zerg. So, basically, the Zerg are the enemy of all others. The Overmind merely represented this.
