My next character of choice, the Enchantress. I have no idea how to build this char (well, id assume enchant is a given) so, help me out.

Id think enchant is a max, warmth, and fire mastery?
Equipment ideas? wand (maybe already with + to fire skills) with leaf rune word might be good...
also, isnt there some sort of benefit to being a melee vs. a ranged enchantress?

mage fist! +1 fire skills and its cheap!

umm.. occy is always a fun one, and lidless wall is a favorite as we know.

Hmm.. leaf is excellent especially with the right staff.

Hes going melee which means he needs a good weapon ;)

Hexfire works, as does other 1handers. I assume Lightsabre would be good to (ITD).

An Enchantress can also max energy shield + telekinesis (tele is energies synergy) to help protect.

is there an advantage of melee over ranged though? id rather pick ranged if theres no disability, taking a sorc into battle is not something i want to do if i have a choice. but i do seem to remember something about double damage or 1.5x dmg when using melee than ranged.

ranged is more powerful but enchantresses are fun. especially going into those act 1 start games and letting lvl 1 characters do like 600 dmg
