Ive read a few articles about WOW, but they gave me little idea what it is like. I know the basics, so could someone quickly go into detail for me?

World of WarCraft is a MMORPG, like Everquest and Ultima Online.

What sets World of WarCraft apart, is... it has superb graphics, sound and cinematics. I have to say, the graphics in World of WarCraft are some of the best in any MMORPG ever. I think this is the one point that really stands out the most.

The other thing that really makes me want to buy the game, is it has a long, two year storyline that everyone in the entire world will get to be involved in, no matter which faction or race they play. At times they might even have huge battles where everyone in a town has to work together to push back a large monster. Impressive isn't it?

Finally, there's the gameplay. World of WarCraft has got a number innovations in its gameplay that can't be found in other MMORPGs. I think there's too much to list though, so here's a few: the characters seem to have an incredible range of skills available to them, I mean, the Paladin would have at least 18 skills, possibly more. WoW has an unusual death regime, where you never actually truly die, although there is a cost to your time when dying.

To be honest, I think WoW is going to be the best MMORPG to date, it's just taken all the good parts from other MMORPGs, and improved on them tremendously. I can't wait to play it.
