Since four people who may start posting here visited this event I've decided to transfer the information from Blizzforums to here!
So, here's a brief summary:
(This is from Minus, TsN-Geptus friend). Attached pictures were taken by Prodigy.
Since he doesn't want to create an account I'll give him a little rant section of this post:
WCG was fun, I arrived at 10:00 i think, nothing was going on, no games were being played, I found the Blizzforums people pretty easily, I had met Darko at an earlier event. They where all cool guys
Staind is a nice guy and I let him use my mouse/keyboard because the internet cafe's sucked. He's pretty fast, not godly fast but fast enough, as I remember it, he was lazy and even asked for prodigy to get up and get him a sub while stealing his chair.
Darko is way too quiet, he's slower than staind from what I saw but still way better than me. He had just got braces in so i felt bad for him having to eat soup.
Prodigy99 is a cool guy, I don't think I really ever watched him play but i noticed that he got like the easiest first 2 games possible, he played against someone who m&m vs T. It was very funny.
Xanimal is very funny, he also looks like he's about 10-15 years older than he is, Staind kept trying toget him to tell the people playing counter-strike to move.
Samuri_x44 (i think) seemed like a nice guy, I never really talked to him much and never saw him play (think he just obed)
I was there when the halo guy lost, I felt bad for him, he seemed to be really despondant at the end. The reason we watched halo was because they had nice comfy couches in there. I was really surprised that Staind beat Missions to be honest, it really impressed me. There was a general concensus that BF Trio was gay but cutesmall was way more gay. I had a lot of fun even though i lost to some guy that was about 5x worse than me.
Brief summary of my games and why I didn't finish:
Game 1: ioM)Missions vs Staind PvP on Dahlia - 30 min game, Staind had won in 10 mins but he decided to keep going until we were both 200/200.
Game 2: Bulloch vs Staind TvP on Martian Cross - Guy spent so long arguing about which map to play, obviously wanted this one since it's impossible for pvt. Basically, I let some vultures in due to bad mouse settings (mouse set on fastest speed = impossible) and that was it. Wasn't great, wish it was best of 3.
Game 3: Dev-x17 or oG)Dev vs Staind ZvP on Dahlia. 11/12 gate rush (which totally owns, trust me) to tech. Raped the guy, I think I could've won without the use of storm.
I think the highlight of WCG for me was when we first got there, and Xanimal was like "holy fuck guys these guys suck at counter strike let's watch someone else" and the guy heard us. O_O Or, the horrible guy at Halo and I just start laughing in the room uncontrollably.
