What do you do on warboards when you cant find any posts related to your knowledge, cant play a rp, friends arent on, and you cant think of any threads to start?

I'd like to point out that it IS possible to do things other than WB'ing EVEN if...

- Posts are related to your knowledge
- You can play an RP
- Friends are on
- You can think of threads to start

But I usually cube a little, code something, or actually do something useful for a change. (And what a change!)

The most usefull thing i can think of: Get on battle.net on SC, or D2-ex. Either that, or i do school work that's due in like 3 hours. lmao.

-Learn new photoshop tricks
-Make uber awesome avies
-Stare blankly at the screen until my eyes go dry [I find it quite fun actually :D]

Hmm... I always do what Scwitzer said. I close Firefox and think of what to do. And since usually I can't come up with anything, I reopen Firefox.

On a more serious note, I usually browse Wikipedia for topics that interest me. Sometimes I even find time to work on my story, or proceed with the development of the Hifpete language.
I also enjoy drafting up new codepages — for example, I designed a new partially dual-bit codepage that could revolutionize the GSM SMS service if it were ever implemented. I might even ask Nokia if they are interested.
I also like to read a lot - mainly John Grisham books. Sometimes I draw fictional maps for no reason.
But when none of these work, I either go play some computer game single player, such as SimCity 4, StarCraft, or WarCraft III; or I turn the content filter off at Google and search for something that would be otherwise filtered ;)

I go to moveon.org and laugh at their FCC petition against FoxNews. Then I laugh at their comments about "we don't have any single large contributors, but with a lot of normal people..." Apparently, they don't know who George Soros is or why he keeps giving them millions of dollars. :p

Other times I'll ponder my letter to PETA about elephants in zoos. I'm not sure if I should really enter that contest, or just send them a letter about it.

When feeling constructive, I'll go work on my CSS or JavaScript skills.

When I actually get off the internet, I usually work on schoolwork or lift weights or something active.
