Writing out with RetroGRP - Problem!!

Alright, Ive only just decided to start making some changes in Starcrafts graphics, and I downloaded RetroGRP to help me write out the files so I can edit them. But when I select 'Write out BMP', and then All Graphics, it takes it sweet ass time. Like, ive left my computer dorment for an hour and nothing happened.
Ive made a folder specific for these images and nothings happening. Ive selected the CmdIcons.pat file from the list and nothin. Anyone mind helping? I could really use some assistance.

It sounds like your extracting with an invalid GRP. Are you sure to extracted the unit\cmdbtns\cmdicons.grp from the patch_rt.mpq?

NICE I dont know why I couldnt figure it out before, but I have now. I draged and droped the Brooddat.mpq into the winMPQ and then extracted a .grp file. Then I opened that file in RetroGRP which it wrote as a BMP easily. This, is excatly what I wanted.
