when i make some really good changes to units, save (overwrite save) a file, it gives me an error message "invalid pointer operation" any way i could change this?

Yes, I sometimes get that error too. I'm not sure what it means, because it seems my Arsenal III files still save even if it says 'Invalid pointer operation.'
The only option I guess would be to try to reinstall Arsenal III and see if that helps. Which operating system are you using?

Yep. Use arsenal zero =P. AIII is an utter POS, it just happens to be the only usable program of its kind.

(i'm using 98)i find arsenal zero harder to use, though, i got 2 customs to work, shield marines and flying hydralysks/shields on all zerg units.
they gotta make a arsenal 4.

Yea, i sometimes get that error when closing. I find that i can't overwrite files, but have to save elsewhere and then overwrite by dropping the new one into the same folder as the old one. I am planning on learning Arsenal Zero though...
And Haplo, i've had the same thought, but sadly, my programming skills aren't high enough.

exactly, it only happens when your completly out and then *ding* microwave? oven? microwave oven? oh, it's that error message that always pisses me off.
