I was just wondering what you guys think is the best first attack for a Protoss Player, I don't know if I'm right about 12 Zealot Rush being good, that's what I usually do, just wondering if there's something better out there.

There is no "best" starting attack for protoss or any race. Your best attack and when to make it depends entirely on your opponent's race and what he is doing. But one thing I can tell you is that waiting around in your base until you have 12 zealots to attack with, like a computer, is asking to be raped.

ya sambo is right about the difeerent circumstances for different attack strats but still having 12 zlot in ur base doing nothing is suicide. at least use ur zlots to buy time with distractions.

Speaking of which, I was playing the other day, and I happened to come across a rather experinced protoss against terran player. Everyone knows that zealots cant do anything against depo walls supported by marines and bunkers, so my opponent built a few photon cannons outside my base and used those to attack my walls, with a big pack of zealots just outside. While this still offered me enough time to tech to firebats, he later came in with dragoons hoardes while i was rebuilding the walls. So, basicly, use what you have. Zealot rushes are, in my opinion, "fucking cheap-assed as hell", but when it gets countered, it gets countered in a BIG way. Walls may not hold these attacks off forever, but often times by the time you can get through, the enemy has lurkers, tanks, or firebats. Scout early on and try to find out what your enemy will go for, then try to plan around it I would say.

AH... the old days of playing SC toss comps and waiting for the 12 Zealots to come knocking at my door...
One time I actually just placed a line of bunkers along my LT starting base, and, just for kicks, threw it a tank behind each. It was always hilarious to watch the little buggers get spanked as they tried to move in along my base hill to attack the bunkers. :D
But still, I honestly don't think there is a "best" start for any race, for sambo's same reasons. I do, however, have experimented with a 4-pool ling rush against some comps, and that is generally pretty effective against all but other 4-poolers. It does, however, leave a badly crippled econ for if the initial attack fails. (Check my other thread for the replays)

Thanks, so I should try to figure out what tech my opponents are going for before I start charging in?

All you do to stop a 4 or 5 pool with zerg (why anyone would 4 pool is beyond me. 5 pool gives you faster ling and a better eco) is 9 pool. Send a drone to their creep and start making a colony, then a sunk. They will have to kill it, which should be no problem, their ling will be done before it morphs. But.. their ling are delayed because they have to stay at their base for 10 seconds killing a colony. This gives your ling time to pop out. So you will have your ling ready at home, and 8 drones harvesting while they have 4.

Best thing to do is scout with your Overlord/probe/SCV after you make your first supply building (pylon, depot or first overlord). Once you find your opponents base it's critical to keep the worker alive so you can see what he's doing.

if protoss goons are blocking his or her base entrence at early game, u kno hes goin reavers or dts, some kinda drop, this may help for pvp but its mostly for tvp

Heh.. in TvP, especially vs you delta-force, because you seem to scout later than most terrans I play... I like to block my ramp with a goon to make him THINK I'm going dt or reaver, and then just play perfectly normal and have him totally tripped up.. sometimes I can get away with double expo because he turrets up expecting reaver or DT.
One thing I learned though is not to fake DT by building a citadel, then cancel it and go reaver... since turret is the counter to both. -_-
