Eh, I'm pretty much just bored and interesting in seeing what you would all come up with if you were asked to make yourself into a hero. You can make yourself a Hero for any race, even one that you have made up. Give a background story, age, special abilities, race, the works.


Just something to do if your bored...I'm bored but my head is throbbing and I currently lack the complicity to think let alone type a story for my char.

Ok I'll give it a shot...

Name: Veridan, Type: Spell Caster, Race: Protoss

Hp: 100, (shield health)Shp: 250, (Mana Points)Mp: 350

Speed:Slow-Adverage, Att: None

Spells:

Malestrom: Cost 75mp

Stasis Field: Cost 150mp

Dark Hole: Cost 200mp

When cast this creates a 8x8 matrix. All units in the 8x8 matrix will be sent to a random location of the map. This could be the center of the map, the middle of nowhere, your opponents base, or it could be your own! The units take no damage exept if the random location just happens to be over water or space. This spell affects units only, not buildings. It is also an indiscriminate spell and will affect your opponents and your units.

I first started thinking "what would be an original character I could use to be a hero?", and then I thought that a smart zerg is an original idea. I think that the zerg race needs more heroes. The problem is that every zerg creature (except for the cerebrates) are so identical, mindless, and without personality that no one unit could stand out. So I wonder that maybe some of Duran's protoss/zerg hybrids could break off and join the zerg forces. It could be difficult to explain why they want to help the zerg, or why the zerg might tolerate them among the swarm, unless the zerg Infested them like Kerrigan. Anyways, maybe one such protoss double zerg hybrid might have enough personality, intelligence, and strength to stand out. Here is my idea for one such hero.

Name: Wah-khon
Description: Has the head of an alligator and a humanoid body with strong arms, and big clawed feet. His head, with a long protuding snout and eyes on the sides of his head, but unlike an alligator he has no visible nostrils and his lower jaw greatly overlaps his upper jaw. His skin has a dark-grayish hue, (or perhaps the colour of whatever player using him has). I think that some hybrids may look like this, but the appearance of other hybrids would likely vary.
Wrapped around his body is a long worm like creature of the zerg that he must share his mind with for the zerg to trust him. This "worm" is named Akrag and is his link to zerg overmind since his complex hybrid brain can no longer submit to the influence of overlords and take orders from them. So he listens to Overminds through Akrag and obeys them conciously. Akrag is wrapped around his waist, and goes through his ears (behind each eye), his worm-like body fused with the Wah-Khon's brain. His worm like body has no head except what might be considered a head inside Wah-Khon's own head. The only end of him is his tail that is wrapped around Wah-Khon's right arm and ends in a wicked razor claw which is used as a melee weapon by Wah-Khon himself. Akrag is also a companion to him, in his low-intelligence way, and pits his reptillian logic against Wah-Khon's creative protoss-like thinking, helping to solve problems.
In spite of his own intelligence, he joins with the zerg because of their simple life and their ultimate goal of universal conquest, and he has ambitions to become a sort of zerg general and emulate overmind control much like Kerrigan does. He fights with them because he believes that they are the winning team, and his contributions will ensure them to be as a whole the dominate life form of the universe.
He will of course serve under Kerrigan, faithfully at first, thankful that he is allowed to be with the zerg, but watch her carefully to see if she makes any decisions he doesn't like. Maybe he does eventually channel his psionic protoss-side powers to gain influence and build is own broods, so that if he decides to rebel against Kerrigan he can take his own army of zerg with him.

Attributes: He will be more a melee fighter, and can use powers similar to those of dark templar to temporarily cloak himself. He will have a strong attack, about 40-50 damage, maybe slightly weaker than Kerrigan, maybe not, and attack mainly with Akrag's razor claw, but also maybe his powerful jaws and his clawed feet. He will be a fast moving unit, maybe as fast as a zergling without the speed research. He will have limited spell casting abilities, but I'd really like it if he could have Maelstrom, the ability to freeze biological units. And maybe as a more developed unit he could have a Mind-control ability for units low on the tech-tree such as marines, peons, zerglings, hydralisks, and zealots.

Obviously, he's going to be a very strong unit, but as a weakness he could have low mana, and he won't have the consume ability like other zerg spellcasters do. But zerg/protoss hybrds probably would be normally stronger than other races, I think.

Anyways, that's it. And while I'm writing this, I'll say that I like Cross_Fire's idea for a hero. But mine could kick his ass.

-Death Coils: (Two long whip like tendril that comes from a hole from the palm of each hand)
Abilities: (Only known abilities are listed below.)
Telepathy: Ability to speak through thought.
Empathy: Ability to sense other's emotions, fear, pain, sorrow, love, hate, ect.
Cloak: We all know this one so no need to explain.

Tenebrae's background is quite a mystery, he comes and goes without explanation as to how he does so. His body looks to be humanoid save for the fact that it's completely covered in what looks like black bio armor...or an exoskeleton. His head is also encased in this armor of sorts making his face featureless, no nose, mouth, or ears. The only features on his face would be what seem to be breathing holes which are located a little past where the ends of his lips would be on each cheek, one above and below on each side. The last feature would be the eye holes that expose his dark eyes, though they don't glow like the other telepathic races they are jet black with a red iris giving his almost demonic form even more of a darker look. When speaking in either way, telepathically or orally, his voice is that of a Terran male and a demonic one that overlap to form quite an exotic voice. His goals are unknown as are his origins but he seems to know much of the other races...

Description: He commands his own fleet. He started out wandering around the galaxy after the Dominion was crushed by the UED, and he was labeled an outlaw. He befriended a tribe of the Protoss, and they agreed to follow him. The UED tracked him down, but with help from the Protoss tribe, he defeats them and persuades the remnants of the force to join with him. He flew around the galaxy, recruiting, harrassing, and destroying the UED. Raynor's Raiders come under his control, and while building from his Protoss base, he sets out to crush the UED, and his convictions against them...

Name: Cal'shan (I came up with that on the top of my head ^_^)
Unit: ling slightly larger with a longer body
attacks: Same Claw attack like lings but claws are bigger and do more attack. Has similar abilities to defiler. Can cast Dark swarm and plauge along with a special liquid that can paralyse biologiical units or rust mechanical units at a very fast rate freezing their joints.

Cal'shan was once a cerebrate but found a way to change to a powerful unit capable of defending itself and helping the swarm physically. He later tells the rest of the cerebrates how to do this and they morph into their own crazy super units. Color is while/black.

unit : Zealot with the ability to use high templar spells and arbiter spells, also has shadows (like the high templar)
Attack : Same as Zealot, air attack anti matter missiles.
Spells : Recall , Hallucination and Berserk
Berserk is like stim packs , but does not take away any hp.


Cacdeleus was the first executor of the protoss. he has been killed by the zerg and has been revived by fellow protoss people.

Meh, I woulda used a character from Spoken, prolly Sharnis or the new Artanis. Dar'Tal woulda been fun too. Meh.

i havnt played starcraft in forever. its an awesome game.

Name: Kilm'nor
Race: Protoss
Type: Captain of a fleet of Battle Carriers
Descrition: Has very light skin and light blue eyes. Hair is pulled back into dredlocks that are about waistlength. Usually pilots a Blattle Carrier, but when hes not he has basic zealot armor on, but with elongated energy blades.
History: (i know almost nothing of the starcraft story) He was once a pilot of a carrier under Tassadar's command. Stayed behind with the conclave when tassadar went to the dark templar plaace. When tassader sacrificed hi8mself, Kilm'nor became the fleets leader. He also upgraded the crafts.

Battle Carrier: Basically like a carrier, except holds more powerful versions of the interceptors, which are known as VIPERS. Battle Carriers also have 2 guns on them
