Just got it yestday, finished about 4 levels. I'm convinced this game is the second best bond game out there. Real voice actors is a nice plus, and the vehicle levels just kick ass. Anyone else play it? OH yeah, it's also a tough as hell game, took me about 5 tries to finish the first real level.

My friend bought it yesterday as well and was talking about it today when we walked to school. He said it was great, though he disliked the steering controls, "I hate the steering controls, they got the NFS people on it. And I hate those NFS racing games!" were his words.
Anyway, he said he was doing fairly well so far. He also told us of some of the changes in how EA does the gameplay now:
-Hand-to-hand combat, he said it was great fun
-Say you kill a bot's partners, hide behind a barrel, then crawl along them to another hiding spot, he won't know where you are, unlike many other games
-There is a new auto-aim, where you hover over them, and then you can move the auto-aimed target anywhere on the bot's body, and it follows along if they move (i.e. if you have it on their head, and they start walking, it will stay on their head)
-The AI is much smarter
And those are all I remember, I may rent it sometime for the XBOX (my computer is craptacular).

It slows down the game, and shows you bad guys, explodable containers, mission objectives, interesting objects ect.
It appears when you're selecting guns.

Sweet, I'll probably try and rent it this weekend (omg pwnage it's the weekend. Finally!), if it's still at Blockbuster (I'll make it a Blockbuster night). If not, meh, I'll just play risk :D.

The first is what, Goldeneye, right?

I rented it a week ago. It was fun but I found the camera very annoying. Nothing like getting shot in the back and you turn around then you find out you also have to move the camera. 8/10

That's it. Second time GoldenEye was mentioned today. I think it's about time I pull out the old N64 from my closet, call over some buddies and get crackin'!

Of course : )Yeah, I knew it was a stupid question. But I remember when I first started playing Goldeneye it was pretty difficult as well.

The funny thing is, Duddits never bought a N64 so he hasn't completly experienced the Goldeneye experience. In fact, most of his Goldeneye'ing was on some old school 64 emulator that crashed his old computer many years ago.

Aww, it's not the same thing if you don't get your buddies over and play 4-way golden eye. Man, I was so tricky with my remote mines and looking off of my friend's screen :).

I've played in a couple Goldeneye parties, but not many. It's all fun and games until your friend throws the controller at you.
The fun is in SSBM parties.

the fun is in marvel vs. capcom and soulcalibur2 tournaments :)
Man I spent many a hockey tournament playing massive Goldeneye parties in somebody's hotel room. Such a great game.

For me, Soul Calibur was a big disappointment, and really hyped up way too much. It was just such a button masher . . . There was no skill! An eight year old, who has never played it before could pick it up and beat someone that had been training for years . . .

I really enjoyed the N64 version, but the GC wasen't as fun in my books.
Those old WCW N64 games are fun multiplayer, as well as battletanx for the N64, I'd go for hours with that game.

Battletanx! I love that game so much! My friends and I would always rent it and play it over the entire weekend way back in the day. We'd literally stay up all night just playing that :D.
Ahh man, I wish I had bought it . . . I doubt if I'd be able to find a copy anywhere around here now : /.
