I am currently making a Defense map, but would like to find a list of all the units speeds (as to determine order of units). Any contribution is appreciated.

Grumble grumble... well I can proudly say I didn't make whatever the Hell my post count is now by spamming!

Besides, I think there was a thread a while back where someone noted the speed of all the units. Lemme see if I can find it.

EDIT: Yeah... here it is: http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=3669

Erm, SikawticPaladin, it's very difficult to tell you how fast units move because they don't move in standard units, and some other units, like the Dragoon, Goliath, Zergling, they move in steps, not at a constant rate. And then some units can be stimmed or upgraded.

So, I'll just say that you'll have to just use your experience with playing StarCraft to work out which units are slower/faster.

I made it, and yes, a while ago I made a list of ground unit speeds, It's not entirely accurate, but it gives you the general idea. just to save you the trouble here it is:

vulture
lurker, infested terran
ultralist, zergling
dragoon, dark templar
drone, scv, probe
goliath, archon, dark archon
defiler, marine, ghost, tank, zealot
hydralisk, firebat
medic
high templar
and dead last, reaver

anything thats on the same line is about the same speed

BSTRhino... i was wondering for how long it would take for a unit to get around to a certain point... there HAS to be an order, dif movement types or not... i think i'll go with blumicrobytes list:

vulture
lurker, infested terran
ultralist, zergling
dragoon, dark templar
drone, scv, probe
goliath, archon, dark archon
defiler, marine, ghost, tank, zealot
hydralisk, firebat
medic
high templar
and dead last, reaver

EDIT: o i c... (i was just genna post your list blue :D)
EDIT2: o as to not 'spam' i will add it here: what does BST stand for exactly?

I know, I was just jokin' ya. You beat me to 500 fair and square.

EDIT: (Swiped from the "Who's Your Favorite Member?" thread)

BST stands for Basic Sages of Tomorrow, from an old computer programming clan I used to belong to when I was like, 11 or so. I added Rhino at the end because when I was 13 I was at the zoo and a Fenguin escaped from its cage and took my leg off. I now have the leg hanging over my computer as a reminder that Rhinos are friendlier than Fenguins.

Yeah, that's exactly what I said EdvardMunch lol. Thank god that Rhinos don't bite legs off like Fenguins do!

And I was referring to the question where you said 'could I have a list of unit speeds' which is a bit difficult. But you're right, there definitely is an order.
