Wee, I got back into modding. I followed the little tutorial for StealthyDeath's guide to making Jim Raynor buildable. I did every step. Now, I was going to load it, when I got to the plug-ins step. And guess what? The plug-in for MemGraft wasn't there!! Is it supposed to be like this? I got it from SC.org.

The tutorial is only for Starcraft 1.10. I planning to update it when I get back.

Anyway, you'll need to use the new MemGraft for 1.11b which you can get at starcraft.org. It's not a SEMPQ, but rather a EXE and MPQ. I'll explain how to use it, but I don't have time right now. I'm sure someone else will be able to help you.

You can find the instructions on how to do it for the current patch in a thread I started a while back.

ChauSara, if you don't want to go thread hunting, i can post how to do it here.

Basically, if you are loading a .pat file, you:
1)select Import .pat
2)Find the .pat
3)Find some random stat_txt.tbl (this is a useful feature, but it isn't important if you are just importing a patch)
4)Click on the last tab in Memgraft and change patch_rt to the name of your mpq file
5)go back to the main page and click on Save Release.
6)Save the .mgd file as follows: (in mod folder) Custom/mgpatch.mgd
7)Save the .exe wherever named as whatever
8)Make sure that all components of Patch_rt.mpq is in your mod mpq
9)compile said mod mpq and place in SC folder
10)run exe.

Hope that helps!

Hi ChauSara! Good to see you again!

Oh yeah, I think the file is: http://www.starcraft.org/customs/resources/memgraft.zip

That's the version before the current. I'm pretty sure I didn't overwite it.

Well I tried to make that mod but failed. I dont know where because I received no error messages but the button for creating Raynor wont appear on the barrack. Anyone who has done it recently could help me out?

Well, if i'm not much mistaken, that tutorial is old. Unless you are running version 1.10 of StarCraft, the raynor button won't appear. This is because of patch 1.11b, which modified Starcraft.exe, so you have to use the new Memgraft. If you look higher in the thread, you will see a previous post i made that gives step by step instructions for how to import a .pat file into the new memgraft. Anyway, you can find the new memgraft at smempire.org, i don't know if you can get it at SC.org or not. Hope that helps!

Thanks King_Templar. I went to smempire.org and found a Memgraft tutorial there and I manage to create a button on a Zerg Greater Spire that creates Infected Kerrigan units. I tried to make it on the Infected Command Center but never worked. If someone is able to do it please let me know what you did.
