I'll have to say BSTRhino because he makes cool customs and maps. Protrozz was a good mapmaker . Omega and Bolt_Head are some of my favorite ones too.

The guy who made Neo Jungle Story and Avant Garde II is damn good. I forget his name though.. some Korean name.

I'll give it to MTrout, he was the first major map maker as I recall, and the one who invented the SC RPG. Where can I download Daedrea's Corruption ZDS? A google search gives me zer0 hits.

Where can I download Daedrea's Corruption ZDS?

I spelled it wrong. It's "Deleas' Corruption". It also may not be on the internet....however....

I like how BSTRhino's signature changes everyday.

What's the trigger for it? I want to do that too! Show me the trigger!~

Me, because I made hip cool maps back in the day.

I used PHP, a cool scripting language. I made it myself. Every time you look at it the sig should look different.

I like about all of the works that are done by our forumers. BSTRhino, DoomDragoon, Omega, (U)Bolt_Head, ZeroDarkStar, Nomozu, and all the rest. Those are the ones that just pop in my head right now. As for others that you might or might not know, Endarire. He is really cool when you talk to him... He was the one that helped create Fate and Destiny. He's where I got a lot of my writing skill for SC maps from... He taught me a bit when I helped out with it from about 45% to 70% on that map. I also learned some new tricks with triggers then, although they are just old triggers now ;). Also, DemonicJack66, who created a few open RPG's and the like. He also created some cooler maps, which I forgot the names to, but are innovative. One of his is really cool, because you start out as a ghost, move near a unit, and about 2 seconds later, get transported into it, gain control of it, and use it. For instance, you can take control of... Let's say this tank... You want to move across the river. How do you do that? Easy! Move near a dropship, while STILL commanding the tank, and it will automatically load. Then you exit your tank in the cargo bay, move to the control seat, and you control the dropship! You can even go around, pick up teammates, and such! It was so cool how he did that. Finally, Panzer is one of the greatest. His rendition of Starship Troopers was second to none, Normandy was uber hard, but I finally beat it, and learned some tricks, and his most recent one (I think), Raccoon City! That thing is so cool! :)

Anyways, those are my picks. There are others that I haven't mentioned, but those are the ones I think of off the top of my head. As ZDS would say, "Cheers to all the map makers, good and bad, for without you, we would have no SC today!" ^.^

~Larry "Geno" Meyers

P.S. Now that I think about it, ZDS would only say 'Cheers,' wouldn't he? :p

Wow, I can't pick just one. Who made New Avalon II? Actually, my favorite is probably {SM}Sir-Shadow, maker of The THING Ice 4.1. That map is just so original and fun that I used to play it like four times a day. But, then again, the guy who made Padorath's Return is an extremely well-rounded map-maker. It's one of those 3. But I still appreciate all of the great guys at the forums. You know who you are.

Haha, you guys are just sucking up to the moderator... not that I mind.

Who said I was sucking up? Truth is, you have done triggers that I don't understand, and I have done old skoolin' triggers before, and THOSE were complicated... You know, like back in the day of using about 30 different switches in tangent with each other... Your Counter Attack map was one of the hardest to make, in my opinion, and I didn't understand ALL of the triggers until I cracked it open, and looked for myself... Hmmm... You should be honored that all of these people admire you, myself included. I can currently only dream of creating maps of that calibur... o.O

Mine? Bah, I had a few I wanted to mention but they all deserted to W3, so no cookies for them! Um, currently, I'd go with Bolt, Demonic Dragoon, Evil Moogle, based on their current maps. Maybe scratch bolt though because he seems to have given up on his tetris map. :\

Well, I was semi-joking. I am honoured, it is really nice of all of you to say that.

But in the back of my mind I wonder, if I wasn't a moderator and an SC.org dood, would everyone still say the same thing?

anyway, I'll forget about the back of my mind, and be happy. Thank you, this is supercalifragilisticexpielidocious! La de dah *dances*

One thing I'd like to say is, the sky's the limit. I used to be a horrible designer... remember? You can do anything if you have the motivation.

That's what the search engine corrected it to. Oh yeah, my favorite mappers (not based solely on most recent projects) would definitely be you guys, though.

Judas Cloud. He is the one who made the entire "The Shifters" campaign which is found at Starcraft.org. The campaign is over 2 years old, but it is still well made.

I can't decide, but, from those I recall, Nanaki, BotD, MTrouT, GoldenUrg, Millenium Army, Flike, {RPG}Fenix, Alexian, Jack, Spider, and me in no particular order save that of grammatical correctness.

Geno: Thank you for mentioning some of my friends and me. Jack likely got that vehicle idea from my Space Pirate War (SPW) RPG.

But in the back of my mind I wonder, if I wasn't a moderator and an SC.org dood, would everyone still say the same thing? You know, ever since that day you came to me asking to join BS I liked you. I would praise you even if there was no one else who could hear me. You are one of the few people who I can actually look to if I run into problems. Go BSTRhino, (U)Bolt_Head, Nozomu, and the Tuxness!

He's made a bunch of bounds... I can't think of any others. People like to steal his maps, though.
