Today, several american Terrorists broke through White House defences and assasinated George Bush Jr. with sniper rifles, a stolen tank, and several home-made bombs. The Terrorist leader made himself the dictator of America by slowly take over the military bases owned by America. The terrorists soon had a large grip on the country in a short amount of time. Only few military resistance remains.

Primeminister Killed!

Today, Primeminister Tony Blair was assassinated while his car drove down the parade route.

Plans were changed for the direction of the parade when the police received a tip-off that some men had been hauling some sniper equipment up to the top floor of a hotel. So the Primeminister's security changed the course to entirely avoid the said hotel, but they forgot to inform the Primeministers driver, who continued along the assigned route.

When the Primeminister's bodyguards told the driver to stop, and that he was going the wrong way, the driver stopped dead in the centre of the road, then began to reverse. But once they had stopped, a handfull of men dressed in black came out of the crowd, surrounding the president's car. They quickly withdrew their Uzi's and began blasting away at the Primeminister's car as the crowd dispersed quickly.

French Oil Platform Seized by Terrorists; French Speical Forces Use Force

Today, the French oil drilling platform, FOD-872, in South America, was forceably seized by a terrorist group, called the NTO. Demanding money equal to 3,000,000 USD, they took hostages and barricaded themselves inside the platform.

After unsuccessful treaties, French SpecOp troopers were deployed. They took the platform with no loss of life, though through unseen complications, the platform was destroyed.

No word yet from the French Government on how this will affect the economy.

Communist regime overthrown!

In a brilliant maneuver, about forty ninjas led by the Ninja King assassinated the Communist leader and all of his cabinet. The Ninja King quickly took up the position of dictator. He began to build ninja-training schools and also began to recruit people.

He says, "There are great times ahead of us - we shall become one of the world's most powerful! Long live the Ninjas, the True Brotherhood of Power!" Despite fears that he may rule too strongly, the people gladly accepted the new regime, looking forward to power, fortune, and war.

French Leader, ZeroDarkStar, Sends Alliance Offer To America

The French Government, now releived of it's old government, which had bad relations with the US because of it's refusal to help in the Iraqi War, and now lead by ZeroDarkStar, sends a peace and Alliance offer to America.

Both superpowers had recently undergone major government changes, resulting in new leading parties in both countries. This may be the reason for the offer.

Updates will come as soon as America accepts or rejects this olive branch.

Japanese Prime Minsiter Shibisawa News Confrence.
At a news confrence this morning, Prime Minster Shibisawa stated that Japan's alliance with the United States of America was broken after the assasination of President Bush. Shibisawa stated Japan would not tolerate such acts and extreme measures were to be made to prevent the US from being the supreme power. Shibisawa then surprised the room by stating that North Korea has become close allies with Japan and South Korea over the last 48 hours. Together, they will infuse thier allies with defensive capabilities if they have poor military. Japan vows not to make a hostility act toward any country but will not hold back if threatened.

Also in the news, a secretive military branch held in Shikoku Japan reveals its projects to the Koreas, showing the offensive Military plans of Japan. What capabilities the branch holds is unclear at the moment, and Japan wishes it to stay that way.

Primeminister's Assasination -- Update!

With this tragic event still unfolding we have received some more information.

It appears that in a twisted order of events the leader of the Terrorist organization, Neal (last name unknown), is to be the next Primeminister of Britian. This is because he has exploited a clause in the rules set down by Britian's founders from ancient Medevil times.

"If the leader of the country is killed in an event of human nature. The kille may choose to take command, if he is not killed in the action, or if the main population does not disagree."

This means that, Neal will be running in an election set to take place tommorow, on such short notice it seems the other politicians, which will now have to compete with Neal for command of the country, will have to try and figure out some sort of platform to run their side of the election from.

Neal has already been quoted as saying "Britian must become it's true self, it must accept the fact it was born to be a world power. I will bring us there. I will bring Britian to the top, and once we're there, life will be much different; as will be the world."

Kamikaze Kangaroos and Koalas?

Reports have been coming in all day that Prime Minister John Howard has been killed. There are conflicting stories coming in from the different news agencies, but they all center around one point: animals native to Australia were used as weapons against the late Prime Misister. The story believed to be most accurate at this time is that while the Prime Minister was visiting a kangaroo sanctuary, numerous 'roos surrounded him, each carrying a small explosive device, and exploded simultaneously, leaving little trace of the Prime minister, and very few remains of the kangaroos.

Jethro Treal, leader of an underground resistance group, is assumed to be responsible as he assumed control of the country and immediately began funding the Defense department for an undisclosed project rumored to involve a recent highly-classified discovery.

With all due respect, what the hell is this? A group of terrorists with sniper rifles breaking into the White House and killing President Bush is in itself unlikely and getting a tank anywhere near there is even more so. You then proceed to allow these terrorists to slowly take over all but a few military installations? That is by no stretch of the imagination plausible. I enjoy playing Politics but ill thought out posts such as this one keep me from joining more. I can accept Bush being assassinated, but the way he is assassinated and what happens afterwards are in my eyes unacceptable, even in an RPG. This game isn't supposed to be pain-stakingly correct and/or realistic in every aspect but even role playing games should have limits and this is passed that limit in my eyes. The acceptance speech of President Vlad was finalized on the rolling thunder of 200,000 roaring supporters of him. Great changes are about to come to Russia. The treasonous Chechnyans will be subverted and absorbed back into the Federation.

In more international news, Vlad offers an alliance to the Japanese saying, "In the troubled times that are bound to come in the future and due to the many assassinations of world leaders and us being the only ones that havent died yet, we must stick together and try not to become part of the body count."

The Asian Alliance Forms
The Emperor himself along with Prime Minister Shibisawa stated together that Siam and China have joined in the agreements calling themselves the Asian Alliance. North Korea and Japan leading the alliance are debating to allow Russia as an ally or not. Japan refusing to ally with a country that is so ruthless and overpowering of the weak, and North Korea arguing that Russias power and influence is needed. At this moment, the Asian Alliance is unsure what to make of Russia but agrees to a NAP.

NINJA REPUBLIC OF CHINA

China has graciously abstained from joining the "Asian Alliance" as of now because it is not sure of the Alliance's goals. The President of China has sent a request to the Alliance for more information regarding what it is planning on doing. He does not want to rush through these negotiations, since China has been engaging in commerce with the United States (I hope it's OK Werewolf ;)) for a while now, and does not want their mutual peace to end.

The ninjas have been training with high-tech weapons currently, along with their traditional training with katanas. The weapons that they are training with have not been disclosed, but it seems that they are comparable with the world's finest. They have been divided into two groups: the Immortals, who are the most elite ninjas and who are skilled with both katana and rifle, and the General Army, which includes the rest of the ninjas. The Immortals are used primarily for surveillance, protection of high-ranked officials, and assassinations. If an Immortal is lost in combat, a member of the General Army is immediately selected to take his place.

In related news, it is rumored that Chinese scientists are trying to discover a new form of metal or substance that is both very strong and very light. Ninjas, of course, need to move very quickly, and generic metal armor or Kevlar would slow them down. They need some sort of protection, however, since their opponents will likely have firearms and rockets.

With the new power that has control over america, The terrorist leader, Jason Garcia, has ordered that there also be scientists. about a month later, it is rumored, after some scientists were gathered, Jason Garcia said to them what he wanted the scientists to make and gave then access to all top secret files and data so that they my complete the project. It's rumored that the project he wants is a geneticaly altured human, by the entire government denies such rumors and says it would be the worst thing they could do to the world by tampering with nature.

Australia looks to the stars

With new technological developments on hand, Lord Treal forms the Australian Space Program, and dubs the men and women in the program "Kanganauts." In a recent press conference, Treal announced that the first launch would take place within the next month, but word has leaked that Lord Treal has already made three successful launches of unknown mission.

Word also leaked early last week that Australia planned to extend an olive branch to Britian. Having come to a decision in light of the leak, Lord Treal confirmed the proposition of alliance with Britian.

The Chechnyans refuse all attempts for a peaceful negotiation to an end of the conflict of terrorist like tactics against the Motherland. Fullscale war on all fronts have exploded on the Chechnyans. The most advanced Russian tanks are leading the advance. President Vlad has stated that not one building will be left standing. The entire province will be reduced down to rubble. All refugees will be sent to special internment camps where each person will be interorgatted before being choosing between accepting Russian citizenship or if denied, then sent to make-shift prisons heavily guarded.

The economy is also getting a boost from the inside as a jackpot of gold and oil was found in the Ural mountains. These resources will be a major help as Russia will be expanding its Baltic and Pacific econmic regions of trade.

France, earlier today, announced that it had hired TacWarDef Specialist Micheal Crane. France also reported that it's spending over $50,000,000 USD on homeland defence options.

A minor setback, the oil platform that was destroyed in South America has put French oil prices a bit higher this season. No word yet on how this will affect the defence plans.

Daily Affairs Report

After a period of instability immediately following the assassination of the Communist leader and the overthrow of the Communist regime, it seems like times are good again.

The Chinese leader, Wang Shen, has pledged today to "Protect all borders of this beautiful country from assault by enemies." He also stated that "China will not suffer another defeat in war! Your property will never be overrun by mongrels!"

In addition, it appears that Chinese scientists are on the verge of a breakthrough in chemical technology. They have come up with a method for creating a very strong and light substance; however, they have not proven that it works yet, and they do not want to waste money and endanger lives by testing out the method on a large scale.

In other news, oil has been discovered just inside the border of China and Kyrgyzstan. Chinese authorities are looking into this discovery.

Britian Back in Action!

Britian, now under the leadership of Primeminister Neal, is "back on track" he says. After some alterations, some incredibly mind boggling, others obviously needed, Britian looks like it might very well gain a spot as one of the leading global powers.

The Government released a statement yesterday to the press in the form of a list of things they are currently doing to give Britian an "edge in today's society." The list was as follows:

- New Military projects to bring us up to standards with the other leading world powers, as well as some to bring us over those standards.
- Research into cures for today's most destructive and lethal diseases (i.e. cancer, blindness, etc.)
- Research into electric and hydrogen powered cars to help conserve energy and our natural resources.
- Improvements in today's society, including but not limited to: health care, help programs, education, roadways, and the homeless.

There are also hints of a secret project the Military has undertook that has something to do with robot studies.

New Militay Plan Leaks?
Earlier today, Japan's new top secret military operation was leaked threw a Japanese spy working for an unknown leader. The spy released the information publically not showing any sign of belonging or aiding any country. The government is staying quiet rather the man's claims and proof is authentic. Apparently the man gives proof that Japan has a nuclear project and a space program capable of using numerous shuttles as large bombers from space. However, how this works is unclear and is why the claims seem fake. The nuclear plans are possible and could prove true. The location still is unknown as the man was captured by local police while the man was just driving into the city. No matter the case, this could prove problems to Japan from its hostile enemies.

Future Allies?
Japan and the TAA have scheduled meetings with India in the upcoming week to propose alliance, or at least peace (NAP) in the upcoming rumored war.

A new science
It has been reported that Chinese scientists have found a way to build simple molecules with the aid of reprogrammed bacteria. When the reprogrammed bacteria is placed in a solution of different molecules, the bacteria will ingest and disassemble them, and then build specific substances.
No word on how this has been achieved yet; however, our science consultant says it may have to do with splicing DNA.

Prime Minister Vajpayee Has Heart Attack
Prime Minister Vajpayee has a massive heart attack. He will undergo bypass surgery on 2 of his main arteries. Information of this news was recieved 4 hours ago and doctors have had a press conference. They believe the heart attack was too severe on a aging Vajpayee (who is turning 70 years old in 3 weeks) and they think that he may not survive before his 70th birthday. For now a replacement prime minister and Vajpayee's board is running the government. They will continue to run the government for one more week in which time a conference with all of India's ministers is bound to happen and that is when most probably a new person will be chosen.

Secretary of Foreign Affairs will attend the TAA in place of Vajpayee
Foreign Affairs Secretary, Vikrum Madheven will be attanding the TAA in which he will be meeting with Japan and any other members of the TAA. More information will be reported once this conference is started.

India's Army has Intercontinental Ballistical Missiles
The army reports that these ballistic missiles are armed with nuclear warheads and are portable. They are carried in a big size truck. The army has not told us how far exactly these missiles can go to but we hear that these missiles have a greater range than the Pershing-2s that the United States made in the 1980s.

Chechyan territory bombarded heavily, casualites estimated in thousands

Following President Vlad's go ahead of Operation Flaming Torch, joint army and air forces leveled nearly every city building in the capitol of this province. Refuggees are being directed towards special camps where they will undergo interrogation on where there loyalty lies then being set free to work in Russia. The conflict is expected to come to an end in a matter of weeks.

Economy on the Rise

With new resources and a higher morale throughout the Russian Federation, businesses and the people in general are recieving a major boost in wealth. Gigantic public works projects are being instituted funded through this new-found pool of money in order to bring Russia back from the brink of becoming a second-hand nation.

Bird Takes Over Germany; Runs Over Passerby While Driving To Election

A 60% favorite, Bird, takes over Germany as he is chosen in the small, snail eating country's last election.

In an angry tirade to his chamber officials, President Vlad went on for over an hour on Australia's utter stupidity on saying that IT is a world superpower. Lord Treal's quote that the Russians can "never be able to rival us [Australians] in real combat" strikes a direct blow at Russian military pride. Defence contractors are already gearing up for a barrage of orders for war materials as President Vlad prepares his Pacific fleet for upgrades to high-tech standards.

He did it because nobody was posting, this could be true. Though sometimes you just have to be patient. He probably also quit because I quit and this gave him the chance to without having to be the first, or the 'main' one to do it.

I quit because I was too far behind, with only 2 posts in this and those were just explaining the coop. I just wasn't as active in this RPG as I should have, which took it down incase someone had to wait for me, or was depending on my answer to make a decision, that's why I quit. In a surprise move last night, Prime Minister Jenson, formerly Firehawk, has formally requested that the United States and China be brought to an investigatory interrogation and possibly a hearing before the United Nations.

On the cooled sands of the desert floor, a team of twelve men could be seen shadowed in darkness setting up a strange device in the dark targeted at a point above the Great Pyramids. Five similar groups were setting up the same equipment. The entire area around the Great Pyramids was bustling with activity and was lit up like a sparkling white Christmas tree with spotlights everywhere. The din of men marching and military cars revving in the darkness could be heard even fifty miles out.

It was no trouble at all in the all enveloping night sky to pick out the Pyramids by the various squads. A simaltenous signal was given and the dishes atop the bulky equipment began radiating a strange energy signature that electrified the hairs of the technicians working on it. From space, five tiny points of light grew in intensity.

Suddenly, a shockwae thundered in the quiet. Then the dishes began glowing in fantastic colors igniting some charge in the strange device that sent out an oblique lightning bolt into the sky. Similar ones converged all at the same spot. Commotion began below around the Pyramids but it was too late. Like something out of a sci-fi movie, a white ball of crackling death illimunated the terrified faces that were pointing upwards.

The sound was sucked out of the air like a vacuum and silently, a single pulse from a radio transmitter sent that rotund object in the sky crashing down onto the Australian defensive emplacement around the Pyramids.

A roar of fire engulfed the people running trying to flee the wave but none survived. The pyramids exploded from the inside senting tons of flying debris toppling everywhere in the desert. Moving vehicles and tanks melted roasting their occupants alive.

After only two minutes, the devastation was complete. A black ring of charred dust was all that was left. The blackness of the night moved into the vacated spot bringing a solitary comfort to those who had been observing from a satellite far away in space.

OOC: I guess I should have stated this eariler: The attack I made on Australian forces in Eygpt was a covert attack. So that means those were Eygptian forces attacking you with Russian tech meaning you can not directly announce that I was directly involved because you ARE at war with Eygpt. In the darkness of night, a 100,000 men toiled beneath the surface of the world. Automatic weapons were being handed out with extra clips. The sound of pounding boots echoed in the underground passages as the olive-skinned man oversaw the entire operation safely from his control center far away in Siberia. Once the initial attack on the Russian military had been completed, he and his loyal army would fly by electro-mag rails constructed during the prior Soviet era and erupt over all of Russia bringing about the realization of his dream.

"Pitchosvoly's weapons are ready comrade at all predetermined locations. It only requires your own personal code in this keypad-"

"I know damnt! I've done this step for a thousand times before. Give the thing to me already," he ordered. The willing servant handed over a black square box with number pads on it. Twenty LED lights lit the top, all in red for the moment. He punched almost reflexively the ten digit number. One by one, the red lights turned to white until a row of them glowed into his ecstatic face.

There had been no warning. When the lightning bolts fused together like some sort of obscene star formation above their heads, they knew nothing of the politic machinations that they were unwittingly playing a part in. They died all the same along with the machines they used. Tons of scorched steel lay torn in chunks. Around the country, a similiar situation was repeated. The deaths of half million soldiers were given a prompt funeral, as particles of dust blowing in the wind.

But the destruction was not yet over for from a hundred bunkers boiled out disillusioned men armed with the latest Russian military hardware and a fire in their hearts turned to the downfall of the very country they thought to save.

And where was Pitchosvoly during this "glorious revolution" who had precipitated it with his invention of an electric weapon of terror? As far as possible sitting alone in a cottage on a snow-blown coast near the Bering Strait. An opened suitcase stuffed with American dollars in high-denominations lay ignored on the cot in the single room home. With one trembling hand holding a glass of vodka, he raised his glass to the crashing waves and drank greedily. He put the cup on the table as he gazed outward from the window and refilled the glass throwing away the empty bottle where it clattered into a dozen others around the cluttered floor.

President Vlad took the pistol in his right hand and grasped it tightly. The building was surrounded by those damnable Communist idealists. Guards rushed about in the halls setting up makeshift blockades as if a few pieces of furniture could actually stem the tide of ten-thousand men roaring outside in Red Square. There was no escape of what they planned to do. Someone had leaked the access codes to the electro-mag rail. Someone had given away the secret to the lightning technology. Someone had been one step ahead of him the entire time. While he had been busy on foreign affairs, his country had been unexpectantly attacked from the inside by surprise.

Not enough energies had been focued on internal matters. That was to change in the future. But only if he was to head that new regime for a change was to come whichever side won. The prize was all of Russia itself under the iron grip of one man.

He holstered the advanced model pistol and shouldered a heavy support troop assault rifle with a fifty round clip and a six round 30mm grenade launcher. Vlad had trained in the special forces so was expertly conversant with all sorts of hand weapons.

Men rushed into his room dressed in army fatigues and set up their machine guns pointed down at the crowd below massed with people.

Vlad picked up a walkie-talkie and ordered with a fervorish glint in his eye, "Open fire!"

Thousands of rounds poured outward from the government building pin-points of light lighting every window. Then the mass of humanity charged forward overrunning the bottom floors. The war for Mother Russia was on.

LordQuimbley, threads are never deleted but acording to the WB rules, if you necromance, or revive old threads you will be punished severely. Example: Kazansky got Temporarely Banned because such actions.

well, i think they should admin that to delete posts this old, or at least lock them to not have this happen. some rules just should be, and some shouldn't. i reply to this to let other people know if they choose to. the gods of the realms should delete threads that are old and no longer in use, it wouldn't bother me if they did it, and i would hope no one esle. if i am banned temporarily for this, than so be it.

old threads shouldnt be deleted just for the sake of preventing reviving of old threads.

a foolish notion really. the concept of having a forum and then deleting actual parts of it (cause that is what you do when you delete threads, your eliminating the forum's history/life/whatever) would contradict itself.
