Do you think SC:G will effect Ghosts in any other Starcraft games? Why or Why not?

I think it won't because they are adapting the ghost in starcraft ghost to the regular starcraft but ghosts may have some changes

I think that, to put a real perspective on it, each ghost opertive is different..
So if you are going to mass-produce ghost units.. i dont think you can have the ghosts be different..
But if the image of the ghost is altered?
I would like to think so. I would like to see most of the terran units/building remade.. seeing as if another starcraft comes out, it would be after the original story and new terran tech will be produced, after seeing and studying the evolved races, i mean by studying them for a short time the ghosts learned to harness psy-abilities..

They might gain an ability or two, but on the whole I don't forsee too much change from the way we saw Ghosts in StarCraft.
Unless, of course, StarCraft is made like WarCraft III; in which case "Ghosts" might be Hero units.

If that's said again, I shall throw you over a cliff. O_<

I do not see SC2 being War3. If Blizzard makes SC with heroes and items, it shows thier creativity went out the fucking window.
The thing is, they have to make SC2 not only meet this generation of rivals in the genre, but to bests itself. They can't just throw in the units a world with a nice storyline. They need to make the graphics appeal just right so that it feels like Starcraft, with new generation graphics.

They won'y make it like Warcraft 3 at all the forums and every one i know doesn't like that War3 style Heroes so i doubt they will.
ANd isn't Nova like a special Ghost.

this was stated in another string but i'm still going to say it. heros in starcraft is not possiblle. warcraft is a game based on battles that can be swayed by a single person. starcraft battles cannot be swayed by a single unit because of the enormouse scale of the battles were one unit makes no diffrence.
I doubt a RPG will have every ghost looking and having the same shit.

First i just want to say i'm new here:p
SSA_Ultimasheep: you say no heros in SC because of the mass numbers, but remember inWC2 there was mass numbers, then they cut it down majorly in WC3. IF they did the same to starcraft2 they could have heros, but i hope not personally. the hero idea waas nice and new, but i just didnt think it was balanced. Online it seems like once your hero was dead, you were screwed if you couldn't get a new one ASAP...
I still play SC andlove it. I mean there really is alot of choice in single player, multiplayer scenarios etc.
Hopefully SC2 will kick ass also and be out soon... and it better not be a fucking mmorgp!

Hey, A StarCraft MMORPG would own so much, (of course another RTS would be really good also)
There are only two paths for StarCraft as of now Path "A": MMORPG Path "A.5": RTS
and Path "B": Dead
Too many paths I know

there is only one way for Starcraft to go: RTS
If blizzard switches it, everybody I know (including me) would be extremely disapointed. Hero units would also ruin everything.

Why can't Blizzard make 2 games? They're doing it with Ghost now aren't they and we're all excited for it!
What if Blizzard make a Starcraft FPS as well as Starcraft 2 (RTS)?
Having different types of games in the same universe seems fun to me at least due to variety.

Because if they make two starcraft games, one would almost have to be RPG (Blizzard North), and the other would be a prospective Starcraft2. And then, the diablo/warcraft fans would start to get pissed...really pissed...
