Hollywood and Diablo II Similarities

I got this topic off the sc forum, but if you think about it, Diablo II characters or at least the graphics look so simliar. Like in Mummy Returns, those little nubians and Lotr's balog look like diablo. There might be more that I forgot about but when you first see it, you think diablo. I'm not sure if that's only me or wut.

Well I suppose they are all play offs of each other, kinda like "trying to out do the best" sorta a thing...

you take what the best out their is and you try and tweak it to make it slightly better. Makes sense, which also creates mind frames.. big red flaming thing = really powerful demon or devil.

Edit: Or maybe its just malarian mimickry? Gosh, I so hope I spelled that right.

Andaria (can't remmber.. boss from Act 1) = Another cheap porno-horro flick chick
Druial = Jabba the Hut
Mephisto = the mummy from the Mummy while he's still juicy
Diablo = Bal'rog
The women smithy in Act 1 = Leann Rhymes from Tremors 1
That insane balding dude in all of the cinema's = Jeebs from Men in Black or Crazyeyes from Mr. Deeds (I favor the latter)
Fallens (or such) = Dino from the Flintstones
Cows = cows high from weed/mad cow disease (Moo. moo, moo! MooooO! MOO!)
Zombies = Zombies from Resident Evil
Golums = Golum from Monster Rancher
The Goatmen = goat from Adam Sandler's song "The Goat Song"
Deckard Kain = Cristopher Walkins (?? The janitor from Joe Dirt, or the main charactor in the original Dead Zone)
