127 Reasons for SCII

We all want to see a Starcraft 2 but Blizzard doesn’t seem too interested in the idea at this time. Let’s give them a few reasons to develop Starcraft 2! I'll start us off.

1) I don't know about you but I am getting sick of Starcraft, I will come back and play it occasionally but that’s all. In my opinion Blizzard is going downhill, I am getting sick of them as well SCII would be the perfect way to put Blizzard back up there!

2) Anybody who owns the original would buy SCII weather it was another perfect game or a total failure. Either way it would be a best seller.

If there aren’t any reasons for SCII can we really complain about it not being developed?

If you read on SC.org a while back, one of the people at Blizzard mentioned that SC Ghost will pick up where SC left off and continue on the story into SC2, which means that SC2 will not come out until long after SC Ghost is released.

Think about this, SC was a huge hit, and still is, if they don't make SC2 as good or better, it will be a major loss for the company. They are most likely going to watch the feedback from WC3 and SC Ghost before they even start developing SC2.

It would be foolish not to make SC2, they will, but they have to take their time because I believe that SC2's release will make or break Blizzard in the future.

I'm trying to break that habit right now, with the RPG ZDS and I are doing, but who knows... Maybe it's doomed to fail as well o.O)

3D graphics will make it lose it's feeling completely, and basically suck ass.
I thought Warcraft 1 and 2 were moderatly fun, but Warcraft 3 just looks plain ugly. There is nothing wrong with the graphics in Starcraft!! Don't touch it!
What I WOULD like to see, though, is the possibility to zoom in and out and rotate the screen. Another thing that would be pretty nifty would be to be able to press a little button, and get a 1st person view of the unit that is currently selected. Imagine selecting a lone marine, just as he's being overwhelmed by a horde of zerglings...and then switch to 1st person view...that would be awesome. (3D would of course be required there, but that's a totally different thing). Another thing would be to take 1st person view control of a ghost, on a nuke-rampage...
But this would just be some extra cream to the greatness of the game. I'm not talking about making it a main part of the game at all.

Hehe...yeah, i realized that a while after posting...
"Hmm....rotate 2D....wait a minute...wouldn't that require 3D???"

What I was referring to was what happened to the actual graphics in Warcraft.
All...I don't know...stiff..and edgy...ugly.

Come to think of it, I'm not so sure rotating the screen would make things better. But I would definetly like to be able to zoom in and out.

I think that they should leave the graphics the same. I like the fast paced graphics of SC right now. If the graphics were the same like W3, we wouldn't have the same "Feel". Personally i think the graphics are great and always will be. They should have a option that can change it from the regular 2D to the #d for the people that would like it 3D. They better make SCII. It would be a huge HIT just like Halo 2. Halo is known for one of the best FPS thus Halo 2 will be an awesome game thus mega profit. SC is known as one of the best RTS games ever made so SC2 will be just as big of hit as Halo 2.

I think we should make a thread full of GOOD ideas and submit them to Blizzard so they actually get on the ball and start making it. We can start the fire and get the game goin. SC OWNZ!
