Does anybody know how to make 2x speed maps? - A map where the units move and shoot faster i.e. Tower Defence II, Team Micro Arena 2x.

Is this a trigger, or some program I haven’t heard of? If so can anybody tell me where to get it, how to use it? Can anybody help me?

Simply place a Player13 unit anywhere on the map to speed things up.

Do you have to put it in a specific part of the map, or just anywhere? For some reason, I tried a test map of something, and it crashed... o.O yes it was P13, and yes, I could see it. Maybe that's bad. Then again, I placed a map revealer for them, and that didn't work o.O

I think that if you see P13 in any way, the game crashes. I'm not sure. Just place P13 in a place that nobody will ever see.

Add a Player 13 unit to the map?... How exactly to you create a player 13. It goes up to 8 by default and I dont see where to add another. Should I be using a different program rather than the original? Thanks in advance.

Use Starforge. Check the stickied thread up top of the forum... There will be a link in there. Change the drop down by typing in Player 13, and place. Simple, no?

i din't realize that made an actual difference in movement speed. at least with a marine. i might try it with an air unit and see if that speeds up. that trick felt more like a minor bug to me that didn't make a real difference in gameplay.

How much will it speed up by when you have P13? You could make it so that P13 wasn't allied with anybody and have a trigger that turned off shared vision for it.

But otherwise, you could do it in a mod/script. Or, for faster unit movement, use a bunch of locations right next to each other and move unit triggers...but I don't think that's what you want. Somebody did that in a movie map when units fall of a "cliff".
