What special skill do you posses or think you posses that is rare or unique. I'm double jointed in both of my thumbs so I can pop them in and out. Of course the skill doesn't have to be physical.

Ummm...For some reason I am double jointed in my jaw. I can pop my jaw in and out no problem. I found this out after a visit to the dentist. He asked me to open my mouth wider while he was looking around and as I did so I popped my jaw out of it's sockets. It's quite wierd and doesn't hurt that bad when I do it.

I am good at almost everything I try? I don't know if being a "Jack of all trades" is rare or not, but I don't know of anyone else with that sort of ability. Also, I'm double jointed at the elbows, but I have a friend who is double jointed in the elbows as well.

Everyone, you don't have to be double jointed to be special XD. You can describe such strange and rare features such as; birthmarks, black teeth, ability to adapt in any situation quickly.

If people pinch me, it doesn't bother me at all. Even after it starts bleeding. I'm not extraordinarily resilient to other types of pain, but pinching just doesn't get to me.

I can also kinda half-dislocate my shoulders. I can't really dislocate them, of course, but I can make them pop outwards and inwards and make a crunching sound.

While many of these posts tend to be exaggerated and a little boastful sometimes, this one is a little extreme. It's probably best to amend this with "When I'm in very light pain..." Because I assure you, if someone tore off your fingernails, you would not be laughing.

On the issue of pain and pinching, though, any sort of clawing of my skin, especially my arms, throws me into a near rage. It's a throwback from my childhood when my sister would claw me. She had extremely strong, thick nails that could and did easily cleave skin from my body with a moments purchase. I only noticed this when my youngest clawed me in fun (babies are warped) and I felt "that rush" I get when I'm working out or I'm pumped about physical exertion. It was freaky, but an interesting experience to realize I wasn't angry but I was ready to tear something apart.

Well...I've never had my fingernails torn off (how would that happen?), so no one knows.

I think I have that same trait. I can pop my right thumb in rapid succession without the aid of anything else, including my other fingers. Of all the people I've shown it to, no one could do it.

Edit: Also, I have a fear that I'm not going to live to see my 50's. My mom felt the same way, and she ended up being right.

I tend to be more alert of the surroundings than other people present.

eg. In a class of 30 someone leaned on the gas pipe and it was making a hissing sound and the room was full of gas, And I heard the noise over a class disscussion.

I also notice tiny details and remember them for ages.
