So back to discussing arcade games and Tetris, hopefully not requiring any more "moderation" that involves insulting posters then locking. Let's discuss: 1.87M. That's pretty much the hotness right there, and I'm open to discussing my openly superior techniques and tactics.

I'm a little less secure in discussing my Tower Defense score, cuz honestly techniques and tactics are all that game has. But in the spirit of fairness, I will not harbor any secrets and am willing to discuss strategy there.

In regard to my Alchemy score, honestly I'd leave the game for 20 minutes and come back to it. It gets hella fucking boring to play after a while and I need a break; let's face it, the goat rune really starts to wear on your sanity after a while.

I don't remember what else I'm pwning at, but if you want a shot at some insight, holla back. Bitches.

I don't even understand the mechanics of the TD game we have on WB. It seems like you randomly die after a while. It'd be great if we could get something like this (http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/tower_defence) in the WB arcade.

So basically right now I'm wondering if you plot out your moves in advance by about five, or go with a system and place certain pieces at certain places. This applies to all of the games you play.

I think I'm missing something when it comes to Tetris. 20k-30k is really easy, after that I start dying based on not having ungodly speed.

TD I've never played enough to have a real plan.

Speed increases. There are strategies you use to maximize points as well.

And GA, according to your score you're basically a world class tetris player and you got a tetris 14.4 times every minute. I don't think that's possible.

Well we all know game developers have been trying oh so hard to come out with a new gen version of tetris forever with new mechanics and whatnot, do you guys think any of them have been successful? I think the only one I enjoyed throughly was Lumines, great game.

I just realized you get 1000 * n score for a tetris, where n is the level you're on. So if you get a tetris at level 10, you'll get 10k points. That narrows it down to 7.2 tetrises per minute, and are there higher levels than 10?

There are infinite tetrises.

On a happy note, I used to play Tetris on the Playstation with my mom when I was a kid. She was pretty wicked good at it, and still is.

As for strategy and tactics.. it's fucking tetris.

Three damn points away from tieing your score. THREE. Whats sad is that I'll continue trying, even though that last score of mine was a complete and utter fluke.

as for tower defenses to add to the arcade, desktop TD and flash element TD please. Theres also a third I had fun playing, but was pretty easy... can't remember it, had these funky sound effects and little creep things... was insanely fun.

I like the tower defenses too. I asked for more of them. And word games. But I'm pretty sure that AJ doesn't really care about the Arcade games, so adding to my list of stuff with whining isn't going to get anywhere anyway.

I just noticed your score in TD and was a little alarmed. I was going to top it but I've been stupid busy these past few days and I don't really have the time to sit down for an hour and work it. As for Tetrises, at L10 a Tetris is worth 12k points, not 10k. I have no idea why or what, but that's that.

As for ICCUP starcraft, no. Similar for Warcraft III, yes. I won the inhouse tourney here by mostly shutouts, and stopped when I played Cole after beating him the first game 'cuz he was a horribly sore loser. He called me names for a solid 10 minutes after he lost and then started trying to bring his friend into the game as an obs, etc. etc. I got to #78 on the East ladder, but quit because I'd play 10 games and 7 of them would be against DH/Panda Dryads for 40 minutes. Now that Dryads and staffs are fixed...WC is old and boring. :D

Yeah, don't worry about it. I'm really really pissed off by that score and the game itself and I don't really see any reason to attempt to reach that level again.

Truth be told, I'm not entirely sure how the hell I reached that point anyway.

Though that tower defense is extremely addicting, especially because of the "micro" aspect. At least as far as I'm concerned.

Haha, I dunno if I have the patience to sit down and waste more time at that game. I think my total time is like alot of fucking time. I just know I blew a fuckton of time on that game.

1. Open up multiple flash applications. How many you need depends on how powerful your computer is. If you've got more than 2GB or RAM it's gauranteed that you'll need more than 10 flash apps open.

2. Play Tetris in slow motion.

Well if you can play at level 10 or higher speed like some people than you'll easily skyrocket to a million points. You get 12k points for a tetris (4 lines at once) at level 10. 10 tetrises = 120k points. And tetris strategy focuses around building in all but one slot, so you can stick l's there to get a tetris.

Sounds like a good plan, Lithium. But considering the size of the score to beat and the speed at which you're playing, you'd probably have to stock up on hotpockets and sever all contact with the outside world for a week or two to get it done.
