FrankZ

In my school, we annually take CEM (center for educational measurement) exams as diagnostic tests. And today, we just received our exam results (we took it last month, July 5). I just want to share my scores this year, which are far off-the-hook and better compared to last year's phail-o's.

English: 135 out of a possible 150
Biology and Chemistry: 83 out of 100
Advanced Algebra and Statistics: 85 put of 90

w00t! My name got posted in the school bulletin for being the top scorer in the sophomore years, and mom was proud for me that she decided to treat me out this coming sunday. Sweet eh?

:D

Way to not completely suck at life. Hah.

Really though, those are great scores, if your grades match the scores you got and you can do above average at some sports you'll have no trouble getting into a college and getting a scholarship.

I take all the credit for your English scores.

I got 'A's on most of my finals at the end of last semester but because they do all this busy work crap that I only did some times I got a 'B' and 3 'C's.

Hey guys, thanks for the positive messages. :P

Yeah. Anyway, tomorrow I'll be taking another test for the editorial staff of our school publication and website development, so wish me luck.

I scored exemplary on all of the tests they gave us. Except for math, I only got an 'Above Average'.

Reading was the best though, I scored 168/170. My teacher was amazed, because I spent most of the class talking.

Good work though. I know how annoying those tests can be, if for no other reason than they're designed for monkeys.

FrankZ
08-01-2008, 8:39 PM
Right. They actually gave us a 2-hour allowance for each test, though I took all in less than 30 minutes and spent the rest of the time taking a nap.

And hint: My English and Bio-chem ratings were Excellent, one notch above Superior, and A-Algebra was Superior.

The English test was totally easy, even third graders could have taken that one. As for the A-Algebra, I was surprised that I actually got Superior, even though I just guessed more than half of the test items. Bio-chem was not all easy, but I guess I did manage.

Did the test include reading comprehension.

A $1 raise on an hourly salary=good deal. Like Duddits said, thats an extra $2k a year. Enough to buy a good triathalon bike if you're into that sort of thing...

Duddits, can I borrow a $1 an hour for the rest of the year?

I bet it did, because most likely Frank saw the mass of posts yesterday that ended with the last post by "Duddits." Oddly enough I am going to chalk that one up to a night of lonely drinking. And a 2k+ a year hardly makes up for inflation, and rising costs but I doubt you wanted to get into this arguement, and look cool by insulting, if i'm not mistaken, a young individual still in school. Of course, you can keep your witty, short remarks to yourself that can't be held up to the light of day.

In short, let Frank make a sarcastic remark directed at Duddits, and leave it be.

Heh. Sorry, Proto.

It wasn't that easy, but I just managed. I'm perfectly happy with my scores. :)

Btw, I just took the webdev/school publication test... and I'm still in the line waiting for my scores. I'll be getting it around three this afternoon (Phil. time)

I'm all for sarcastic remarks and lonely nights of drinking.. But what if it wasn't a lonely night of drinking, and merely a night of drinking that didn't end with sex and the cuddling afdtwerwards. kUDOS for me. And no... you can't have my $1 a year raise... I'm sorry. I'm only making $13.27 an hour, and they are only apying ofr my college. I'm happy with that, s it pays for my house and all of that good shit.

Hey guys, thank you all for the nice comments.

Btw, I just received my scores:
School Publication Test: A++ / 95 out of 95 (Essay)
Technical Team: A++ / 148 out of 150 (Hands-on web programming and graphics design skill test. I missed two points because I incorrectly placed a mod_type() function somewhere in the body of the page script XD)

Well, yeah. I'm perfectly happy with these scores, and actually, because of my high score in the school pub application test, I was invited to take another test, this time for the editorial staff. Wish me luck... again.

You did well... err excellent... on a test and get more tests. What do they do to the kids that don't do well? O.o Give them five tests?

*(Note the sarcasm, and irony)

FrankZ

Well, no. The first tests were centralized tests for all young Filipinos, while the latter was a voluntary tests for people whom the school admins think have great potential.

And sadly, all those who failed the centralized exams need to attend boring and hilarious remedial classes... which are usually given during weekends and summer vacations. Hooray for me, I guess.

I just noticed. Are you really that way? Show up and say useless things that even dogshits won't find useful? And bullshitty things trying to prove your mental superiority against babies?

Wow, Genocide. That's such a great thing to do as a great man with a dignified mouth. Sucking at every aspect of uselessness.

Yeah, they're funny, alright. Only if you're not the one being aimed at.

It's more of a poo-throwing than sarcasm. It's just making people laugh by humiliating others. And I for one do not find that dignified at all.

I take it you can't stand television, primarily comedic programs? Comedy isn't nice or dignified, it's there to be funny. If you can't take the heat, perhaps you shouldn't have been stupid enough to get it in the first place.

Yeah, they're funny, alright. Only if you're not the one being aimed at.
And if you're getting scorched by five words over the internet, lighten up.

I'll leave it at that.

I laugh at those puny comedy programs. Yes I do. Only because I'm having fun watching them being humiliated. That's because we all do. But coming to think of it, it's not a dignified job, and this isn't a comedy program. This is real life, Doctor. You should have common sense in the first place to know that.

And if you're getting scorched by five words over the internet, lighten up.
I don't usually get "scorched" by anyone's puny sarcastic remarks. But this time, I don't find it funny when my hard work's being laughed at by some jerk and his fucking sidekicks.

I'll leave it at that.

This is real life?

This is the internet, FrankZ, and common sense dictates that the internet != real life.

This makes no sense to me. Care to explain, or is the joke on me yet again?

Ah, so you're trying to tell me, with all that brain power of yours, that moral values and social ethics should not be preserved in the internet?

And you trying to tell me that internet should be treated like comedy series, and not real life encounters with people who feel, see, think, and breathe?

This makes no sense to me. Care to explain, or is the joke on me yet again?

You should have enough common sense to know what that means. Otherwise I'd say that you are the one joking me.

They should, but in many cases, they aren't.

I really don't, actually. Read it yourself and try to make sense of it.

If you're going to quote me or the film, I suggest you do so correctly. "Joker", being a proper noun in this case, should be capitalized. Quotations or tags can be applied at your leisure. Purple text is optional, as always.

Joker - proper noun, isn't what was suitable in this situation. That's why I wasn't dumb enough to capitalize it. Re-read it and you will understand what I mean.

In our language, we say that as: nagpapatawa ka ba, 'tang ina?

I know, right? I can't make sense of it, either!

A noun is a person, place, or thing. The Joker is a person (or at least a half-mad shell of one), and therefore, must be capitalized in the sentence.
You're thinking of "joker", the adjective in "that DocZetta, he's such a joker!"

In our language, we say that as: nagpapatawa ka ba, 'tang ina?
Je sais! J'aime le Joker!

A little french for you. I'd like to keep it English from here out, however. Forum policy, apparently.
