Infested Protoss?

I always found this idea interesting. I even wanted to make a mod changing a few of the Zerg units into Infested Protoss units.

Recently, I thought "What if Blizzard will make them in Starcraft 2? That would be SO awesome!!!"

But a few minutes ago, I stumbled upon this (http://sclegacy.com/images/uploaded/starcraftiinews/techtreezerg-revised.jpg)

It is a Zerg Techtree, and if you look in the upper right corner, you will notice "Infested Protoss" :o

Share your thoughts about Infested Protoss. Will they be Infested Zealots? Templars? Something else?

Infested Protoss were supposedly produced from Infest Protoss buildings. I dont know if its still implemented, or if they actually did replace that with broodlings.

I find it weird that neither Infested Terran Buildings nor Infested Protoss Buildings appear in the techtree.

I disagree. Protoss buildings need pylons to "function", so either I'm wrong, or this thing is more complicated than it seems.

The Infestor corrupts terran and protoss buildings. Thats where they come from. Honestly, everyone knew this except you.

What do you mean you disagree? The infestor has a spell that infests targeted buildings. What are you disagreeing with?

Realistic-wise, it doesn't matter that protoss buildings require pylon power because infestation no longer takes over a building in the same was as it did in starcraft 1. You'll notice now that infested buildings simply spawn infested units for a time, you don't actually get a building with a build command or anything. So it wouldn't matter if the building was operational or not because the zerg are simply infesting the Protoss living inside the building, not using the building's functions in any way.

And I think that they'll probably be infested zealots because marines are the lowest level unit and they're used for infested terrans.
