I don't think more than 50 people are even active here, so that's going to be rather hard to beat. :-/

This is not feasible because we don't have that many active users. The most users set is usually when we have a high trafficked site link to us for something or another. I remember Seal linked to a duck thread on a popular IRC channel and that caused a momentary flood back in the day. I'm sure the 672 is something similar.

The reason I'm locking this thread is because nothing will come of it. I mean, it's a cool idea to try breaking this record, but doing it by making a thread is not possible. If you feel I've closed this thread in error, please press Alt+F4. Or PM me. One or the other.
