View Full Version : SC2 Spell Idea

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, and I also don't know if Blizzard will read this, but I thought of an idea of a new spell.
Fire Extinguisher
The spell should probably be given to the Terran Nomad. Your probably thinking "Why not the SCV?" If it was given to the SCV, there would be no point, because he can just repair the building. The spell would put out the fires on a building when it is in the red hitpoints, and stop it from burning down. If you support this idea, leave positive comments and choose in the pole.

It wont be implemented. And anyways, its redundant, since SCVs CAn heal buildings. I don't see the point of this thread.

sigh.

...You should have an SCV or two with your forces/frontlines to repair buildings. Common sense.

in an effort to save this thread lets all post our ideas on what new spells we think should be added. :)
i think the nullifier should be able to cast a channel spell called untangiblity, making it impossible for that unit to be hit, therfore impossible to hurt.

Not only is it not that useful, but it kinda messes with telling how many hitpoints the buildings have lost. If you see a building that has no fires you normally assume it has close to full hp and doesn't need a repair, or it is harder to kill. It might get annoying after a while of having it.

Ldawgg, I think the word is Intangibility, and also, a spell that makes a unit invincible? I think not. What purpose would that have? And would it not severely overpower them? get a few nullifiers and a mothership and you have an unstoppable army. Kinda ridiculous.

I kinda have to agree with NoobOfLore here. In fact, it sounds to me, at least, as the stupidest idea I have ever heard for Starcraft 2. Not to offend you, although I already have. Oh, damnit.

ITs a channeled ability meaning if the nullifier is hit by anything while it's casting it stops. Also the nullifier can't do anything else while it's channeling either. Also the rate in which the nullifiers energy drains depends on how many hit points the target has, i.e. the bigger the target the less time its intangible. So a mothership would be intangible for only a short matter of seconds if it even could cast it on a mothership.

Still imbalanced.

Not really, it's just think of it as a really frikin good shield, how unbalanced could it be?

...
Your kidding, right?
This thread is silly. I mean, it could potentially work, if tried again, but for now it's started based on a rather strange premise.
